Love the emphasis on enunciation and breath control. These techniques can make all the difference in an audition - clear, confident speech is key to standing out.

The "pah dah gah" exercise really helped me with articulation. As silly as it sounds, it's very effective.

Why do i sound so high pitch and when i try diaphragm breathing technique my voice becomes deep but i realize I'm faking it and i don't like not being real 😣

Define real?
@crossbladesak901319 күн бұрын
what I mean is like I've been talking in high pitch all my life and now this sudden change feels like I'm faking it also sir i don't know why taking deep breathe don't help me but when I take deep breath through my mouth I can speak more loudly and my voice becomes deeper

This is exactly what is happening with me. There is tightness in the throat area. To me it is when I am nervous, I just can't let out the "ideal" voice that I can do when I speak alone. I switch from speaking from the diaphragm to the throat. Worse, even when I am alone sometimes I "forget" how to speak in a relax manner from the diaphragm. My throat is just tight, I can't articulate my voice well, and I pronounce English words with my native dialect's accent and it's just too thick and it makes me conscious and make me even more nervous and tightens my voice more. I watch a lot of your videos, and do the exercises you shared on a daily basis. "Bah Dah Guh, Pah Duh Guh. Lip and Tongue trills Yawm, Tongue twister" and more. It helped me a LOT. But the problem really is I want to have that switch where I can just remove that tightness when I am nervous and just let out my voice which I know I can do.

Well I don’t have any lips still I somehow manage 😂. I’ve got a video on it.
Learning needs to be enjoyable, not so serious & stuffy. I couldn't watch the video through to the end.

I think Darren was being perfectly silly for the occasion, example: 5:54 when he sticks out his tongue he makes a completely unnecessary funny noise. Clearly he is being relaxed with his delivery with this video. Darren don’t listen to the naysayers, keep on keepin on, I like your style. ✌️
