the new wisefab "odi editiion" angle kit moves the rack to the front of the subframe for even more clearence. was thinking that with the rear sump pans people offer for this engine would be slick.

Mad respect for you building that header, i built one set for an explorer with a 302 in it. I had to keep walking away from it and took me, evenings after work during the week no weekends, almost 2 weeks per side and i wont happy with the routing i did but after seeing the only aftermarket set for it mine looked a lot less goofy than those $1200 set that cost him $500 for me to build. Hind sight i should have built a jig off that set and built a set a month and could have them sold before they were made

stainless studs are weaker and snap off easier, less tensile strength. if you do use them make sure to use antiseize every time or it will gall up when you try to remove it after it gets heat in it

Have a engine-less 240 with a Ls in the process but always thought about this but it’s so much longer and taller then a jz. All the cutting shesh oil pan gonna be a mission

Some subframe spacers might give you a little more room for the oil pan.

When welding the runners, leave / make a larger size radius / venturi to help flow. A sharp edge will hurt flow /cause turbulence.

No, initially it was until we started cutting the firewall and found that there is a way to make it rear sump. That'll all be explained in the next video.

You can make it equally lenght just using water and measuring how much water each tube takes. it will help make more power with less boost and stress

This is super cool. And I applaud your ingenuity and determination. But the take-away I get from this is, it would have been far easier and more practical to just put a 2JZ in there. The recipe for the 2JZ has already been written for the S13. If anything, I learned a lot. Maybe not something I would attempt, but mad respect for your build. Not many people can say they have an Amera-Barra S13.

Really cool seeing you put together that manifold. Not sure if you did or not but did you take into account your firing order? I was told that keeping the runners that fire close to each other really helps scavenging.
