I think we should make the enchanting table ingredients based. When you select one of the options it will give you the enchanment of that ingredient with a strength proportional to the amount of bookshelves and XP + lapis you whack in(a full 20 bookshelf enchanting table with 500XP and 3 lapis consumed will guarantee a max level enchantment) and it will also increase the chance of a second random enchantment(which can be negative). To combat these negative enchantments, putting in a fermented spider eye, an emerald will remove any enchantment you dislike, at the cost of 600XP. We could also probably get away with making the entire levels system obsolete(making it a "bragging" score). Maybe add a chance of failure where the ingredients and non-netherite tool gets consumed or the one of the bookshelves comes alive and tries to kill you. edit: I would also tie this in with the other magical system(potions). A potion of enchanting will raise the chances of a random extra enchant, raise the chance of an overenchant(enchanting for sharpness V will have a chance of getting sharpness VI instead). There would be XII levels of the enchanting effect. You can get level 1 from brewing a mundane potion into 1-3 bottles of enchanting, level II by brewing a glowstone into 1-3 bottles of enchanting and the levels III - XII by distilling two level IIs into a level III and then two level IIIs into a level IV and so on and so forth. This would apply to all the other potions as well. Also awkward potions would now increase villager prices, thick potions would give nausea, mundane potions would increase the strength of magic based enemies(witches, evokers, illusioners, etc.). Brewing a fermented spider eye into 1-3 thick potions would give a potion of saturation. Doing the same for night vision would give blindness. Brewing a sugar will give haste. Maybe add a chance of failure too(-1 resulting potion as the brewed potion will evaporate into the are and "dispense" itself as a lingering potion centered on the stand. Trying to brew a potion into just one or two bottles will do the same.) Putting two potions together into a cauldron and heating it with a campfire would fuse them together and combine their effects(If potion A has nausea II, blindness III, strength IV and B has Strength V, Nausea II and haste I the resulting potion would be nausea II, blindness III, strength V and haste I). The campfire will be destroyed and drop as a charcoal. If you put lava, potion, a bottle o' enchanting and a tool/piece of armor in there it will gain the effect of that potion and it will be applied when you equip or hold it.

This is pretty accurate to how I feel on the cast, but I feel Aubrey deserves a little more credit. damage is damage and you are not carrying an inventory of 99 Coffee for every fight. Headbutt carries earlier fights along with sad stab omori (which you can set up easily by passing the ball to Omori Pre-Space Boyfriend fight). for most generic fights I find it easy to have kel make Aubrey angry and just let her go to town. Rebound is SUCH a good move. by the time you get it you've already arrived at Space World and the UFO's all die to it. It does get phased out for pass the ball to hero, but it served its purpose remarkably well. I will say I didn't know that the enemy AI doesn't use juice at all. I assumed that they did, and certain attacks have specific values (tbf, headspace enemies have a LOOOOT of juice especially bosses).

You don't have to wait for Mojang to fix it. All you need is for some random person to take matters into their own hands and create a mod to fix it. Although there are already some enchantment mods out there.

You should use the fortune 2 to mine more diamonds and then enchant another diamond pickaxe with efficiency and unbreaking to mine all the stone and keep the fortune 2 pickaxe for the ores.

This is nowhere near as bad compared to how horrible it was before. 1. Levels took multiple times as much experience. 2. You needed level 50 instead of level 30. Combined with 1, that means exponentially more experience. 3. It took dozens of minutes to even find level 50 in the enchantment table instead of it always being at the bottom. 4. You didn't even see a single guaranteed enchantment. It was completely random. 5. You lost 50 levels after enchanting that level 50 item instead of 3 levels. This made getting good equipment orders of magnitude more grindy. I don't think it was possible to enchant all your tools and armor without constantly having to enchant swords or pickaxes to grind experience to enchant stuff again and again, hoping that you get good enchantments. It's like Notch never tested his enchantment system and Mojang had to somewhat fix it, but still not make it actually good.

Durability is a huge problem, doesn't matter if get efficiency IV unbreaking III you know that pickaxe won't last forever, and with that awful "too much expensive" system in the anvil, things get even worse, The enchanting table wouldn't suck that much if you could efficiently repair the things you get without depending on villagers, i don't think echanting is the issue here, re enchanting is, unlike villagers you have no guarantee you can get the same enchantments if you break your tool, so if you want to enchant another tool you have no guarantee you are going to get the same enchantments, so there should be an way to repair your tools without mending.
