Love the video, but soldering is not the way to go. It tends to crack through vibration and colder temperatures

Hi! I'm trying to do the same as you, but for sure my dash and entire assembly is missing a lot of parts, is there a place (anywhere in the world, at this point I already tried Canada and my country, and they all say its discontinued) in AU that you could recommend to find the dash and inner parts? My car its a BJ70, it came with the 1PZ engine, similar to what you call Bundera or SWB. It didnt option the AC or radio, but I already bought the entire ac system, now i need the interior vents, etc.

Hello, love your work. Where did you get that radiator fan from?

Please notice that puting two wires into one cavity is not proper to this deutsch connector. This is not designed for that. Also You did not use the blind plugs which protects free cavities. Please research the Tyco website.

how long did it take you to build this? 👌🏻🔥

at the beginning when you solder that wire why didn't you get rid of the entire wire and just pinned the ends of a new tire and introduced that to the connector?

Couldn't help but notice the final bend uses only one side of the brake and crops out half the piece being bent...inspecting the brief glimpse of the bend it appears very asymmetric. Seems to me the most important part of a build video was glossed over (performance/does it work?).

I personally haven't found TESA tape to be THAT good, I've had a couple situations where it started to come undone vs my electrical tape that stayed on for years. Although I'll admit it was where I used a small strip, where I used long strips that I wound over a long stretch of wire it seemed to hold every time. Little strips with just a small section won't always hold

I finally upgraded from looms and electrical tape and splurged and got some TESA tape from amazon. Was pretty disappointed in it. Wasn't very cloth like, stickiness wasn't that great, more like electrical tape with a texture embossed on the top layer. Plasticky feeling. I wanted actual cloth tape thats soft and cloth-ish. Will have to try another brand, as "tesa 51036 High-Performance PET Cloth Automotive Wire Harness Tape" on amazon wasn't worth it.

Hi, I have the same Troopy as yours, an 88 HJ75. I like your low profile roof rack, can you let me know make/model and where you got it, and whether you like it? Thanks!

ripper video's, loving the build so far. just be aware of the melting point of that grease, for your sliding pins on the calipers i'd be more inclined to use a high temp wheel bearing grease or the copper anti seize, last thing you want is melting grease on your brakes. still a grouse watch, but a little heads up, cheers

Awesome tutorial, only minor thing i would have done differently is putting a sleeve of heatshrink below the zip ties so it doesn't damage the wiring with time
