Milwaukee jobsite scissors are way better at opening packages than knives. I have the offset handle version. Great videos, just found your channel.
@stringlarson12472 ай бұрын
I've got both as well. The TP3 won't fit on a 2 1/2" belt, which kinda pisses me off. I'd love to have it work on my belt to use with my parts pouch. I'm going to modify it to work without f'n up the bag as the construction is so good. The belt clip is too easy to knock off when crouching or getting in/out of tight spaces. And, yeah, the TP3 doesn't sit as well when loaded with as much kit as you've got going. I use both depending on what I'm doing.

I saw this knife on Morgan maintenance also. I was ready to order one. But then read several reviews that said utility knife didn’t have a good positive and would close unexpectedly. So Ive held off getting one. If you put pressure on your utility knife, does it retract back into the handle?
@thriftstorelumberjack3 ай бұрын
I honestly have not used the utility blade on it much at all other than opening boxes. I keep a Milwaukee Fastback on me and that's my work horse. Honestly I could do without the utility blade. I needed something small in my everyday carry service pouch, so I bought it because of the compact jab saw feature.

That is honestly the main reason I purchased the Bosch. It was affordable and had pretty good reviews on it. I haven't had any issues with it so far and it is mainly what I use it for. Hope this helps!

lol me too i even hoard small nails for tacking doors. im torn over getting the knippex (mine walked off) or the Irwin. the irwin look like wider jaw. just bought the kobalt self adjusters. cool husky bag. i got the big one to close because my coworkers and contractors steal all my tools and our shop gets broken in.they stole my golf cart one day while doing hallway lights! now i'm pushing a shopping cart. I hear alot of buzz about the hercules tote
@thriftstorelumberjack4 ай бұрын
I would honestly go with the Knipex. I honestly won't use anything else now after using them. Sorry you've got people snatching your stuff. I use to deal with that all the time. I am now fortunately the only tech on my properties so I don't have to worry about anyone touching my tools.

I would put many of those tools in a rolling tote. Like a rigid or husky modular box. Get a crate to house your current tool tote

If they don't take common blades that's sort of a deal breaker for me though...
@thriftstorelumberjack10 ай бұрын
So I did test that out after my initial first try on the video and it will take any sawzall blade. But for some reason it was being difficult with that Lenox blade and I think the Lenox blade is a tad bit thicker. But it does take my Diablos, which are the majority of what I have. It's definitely a solid tool, I'm really liking it!
@michaelkulman709510 ай бұрын
This looks slicker than the $12 Stanley one I just bought and others I looked at. Looks like it comes with more blades than most and better storage for them.
