the wobbling argument has always been wild to me if your opponent can walk away from the game and come back and not see a difference in gameplay, then its not a skill dependant strat and shouldnt be allowed

Watching this again makes me realize how short Bananas' career really was considering how good he was. 2016-2019. If he had kept playing, I wonder how good he would be?

But they’re fun as fuck to both play and fight and they have the largest playerbases so that’s not really negotiable for most melee players.

So Mew2King camps Ice Climbers because he wants to avoid the ONLY THING THEY'RE GOOD AT (cheesing) and Wobbles has the audacity to call him a hypocrite? Deserves a swirly for shit like that.

Wobbling is based. Hatred of wobbling is rooted entirely in a skill issue
@shady8045Ай бұрын
You say that despite the fact that a bunch of players disappeared and became irrelevant after it was banned. That shows they were likely carried by it.
@YOSSARIAN313Ай бұрын
@@shady8045 it should still be allowed. You should not get grabbed if you dont wamt to be wobbled
@shady804529 күн бұрын
@@YOSSARIAN313 it’s gone now and very few people miss it, why can’t we just continue letting the game be a better version of itself? Peach Icies isn’t even as bad as people say I’m. personally I’m conflicted but only cause I like Chudat, literally every single other one who wouldn’t likely be retired anyways I don’t care about, and the pros of it being gone outweigh the cons.

But Brinstar should be a competitive map again.

Honestly if the advertised tripping would not be an option but required gameplay no matter what, nobody would've looked at Brawl to begin with and kept playing Melee without missing a beat, or a punch in this case, cause everyone went back to it once it was learned quickly that tripping ruined the game and was unplayable for any serious format for like a decade

I mean that's how it was up until that point 64 was good but Melee was a vast improvement; people still played 64, to this day even, but Melee saw probably 99% adoption-- it was just what was thought of sequels back then
