Hey I really liked ur video, I having been looking and doing a lot of research, and really love this bike, I love the front forks and the headlight, an how extremely well built the bike looks. So my question to you is, I'm thinking of ordering the bike, but I'm leaning more towards a torque sensor rather than a cadence sensor? What's your thoughts on this? I bought Velotric discover 2 for my wife that I have been riding in the meantime to fill my need. The Velotric has the option of both cadence or torque, I really like riding it with the torque. Just wondering what your thoughts are, and if this is just personal preference? Thanks, Jay
@shootthechit4 күн бұрын
Honestly, for this bike I would stick with the cadence sensor. I think Torque sensors are better suited for bikes that aren't high powered. The cadence system on these bikes is pretty smooth as it, probably my favorite out of any bikes I've tested

Not really close to the Wired bikes as they lack 1000 watts, UL certification, and a thru axle. Cleveland claims this bike goes 43mph😂😂😂. Maybe downhill, with the wind, piloted by a manic Latino pedaling like a coked up rat. Always important to wait for a real review as Owners tend to be a little biased, or in this case, fraudulently misleading.

Tell me what’s better for $2000? The e cell bikes are just not competitive in price or performance to Wired’s current generation let alone what Wired is going to release for 2025.
@shootthechit10 күн бұрын
@@jfly2249 To be fair, the Wired isn't really 2000, its closer to 2500 after tax and shipping. Its not all about speed, and I feel like both bikes are worth their price tags. Ecells bikes use really nice dual wall wheels and have very stout frames. Wired bikes are faster. Its nice that people have options.
@jfly22499 күн бұрын
To be fair, you pay tax on every e-bike except from those companies just starting out, or those who break the law and are asking for trouble. I think e cells had never sold enough bikes to be required to collect sales tax before they copied Wireds drivetrain. They may be in store for a rude awakening if the tax man comes calling. The Wired Cruiser is much better than the step star, it literally has 50% more peak power and doesn’t wobble with a safer thru axle fork, and it costs less even with tax and shipping. And you can actually get one this year🎉. That said, the step star is better than just about every other bike out there.

Thank you for your well thought out comment. Having to add a hellbender headset doesn't really count as no wobble does it?
@jfly224911 күн бұрын
Wired always knew a step thru with a rear battery was Wobble city, that’s why the Cruiser always came with a Hellbender headset installed. Actually makes the steering super stable at high speed, you should try one. The $2000 Cruiser has 1000 more watts, goes 40+mph throttle only, is certified to UL 2849 , and has a much safer thru axle fork. Moreover, when you pay for a bike from Wired, you actually get one. Some people have been waiting nine months for this dual step star disappointment, thanks for financing Dave’s business. Why are you supporting this guy? So many people have gotten screwed by e cells, why do it to your viewers?

But after all the crap from e cells about their superior frame, to see both of their dual battery bikes suffer from extreme wobble, PRICELESS😂😂😂.
