I'm in Spain and when the GW store was open there was a phone call from someone in the UK looking for some lizardmen minis asking if they could be shipped abroad. What I think could be possible for these new questions for factions: Stormcast Eternals: Maybe a Draconith based force with dragon armors and new dracoth riders. Malerion: Really alive just biding his time. Marshaling his forces for an appearance. Dragonriders and hybrids could make up a major portion of the force with assassin's and dark spellcasters (dark reflection of the Hyish elves. Dwarves: new fyreslayers with possible avatar of Grimnir (think avatar of khaine but heavy focus on melee rush, maybe a return of Bugman as a legendary figure similar to the Bretonian Green knight, possible new dwarves faction(chaos dwarves return anyone) Seraphon: new models and possible plot lines (maybe involving the gloomspite gits) New plots: Possible war of the gods as a plot line. Morathi and Malerion could possibly remember their hatred towards each other, and begin a civil war on the realm they "share." This could cause some destabilization in the order forces. Question if this alliance could hold. Maybe?

I could be wrong but i swear theres something in the Seraphon Tome from like 2 months ago that mentions that Slann have had interactions with Dracothion and sort of intimates he has a actual connection to the Lizardmen and the Old Ones who are also intimated to have built the relamgates. Kitetsu I thought that too but I also have realised that the article with its saying ‘there is no malerion’ only says there is no ‘male’ which could be a misleading deliberate point of cut off that tricks ya for something! Also, if malerion did get a ‘vampire elf’ faction that would explain why we don’t get much info on Ulgu as maybe they rule over it totally since malerion ‘rules with an iron grip’ which leads me to ask who does he rule over? I really hope for something like this, but only time will tell!

I'm sure the seraphon/Bad Moon bit was a joke, but what if GW is hinting at either an ofshoot faction of Seraphon that align Destruction (think Koatl's Claw), OR softer alignment lines/cross-alignment alliances? I also want to add that the Slann and the Seraphon dont seem to give a fuck about Destruction. They are solely focused on preventing the spread of Chaos and the stopping the Long Game. They shouldn't be opposed to allying with orruks or grots to accomplish that.

I think some of this is teasing new stuff, I think some of it might be more for fun. Like Bugman is probably to answer the question of if he's still around or not, which they probably get asked from time to time because bugman's is still a thing at warhammer world. But we'll see, some things are bound to show up at some point, like Malerion and his aelves.

I think it will be a new boardgame like warhammer quest. We've had so many varied rumours I think it will have something like Idoneth, FEC, Chaos, Stormcast obviously and more. Some as heroes, some as enemies.

The picture from the "rumor engine" from a while ago that was clearly Seraphon makes me think it is a staff of some kind of priest/mage character. If people are actually asking the question of "whether Dracothion is real?" then maybe it is time for the "prophet" to come back? Meaning, maybe a new take on the "Prophet of Sotek"? It would work well with Age of Sigmar - Underworlds too. It could be that Dracothion themed units are added to SCE and Seraphon soon.

The fact that the journals were not burned tells you someone wanted to debunk this rumour. Possibly started by Morathi trying to lure Malerion out from who knows what. Half dragons might need century long trance-like naps.

Well Grimmnir is in a bit of an odd spot right now due to Gotrek. In Gotrek's AoS debut, he had legendary ur-gold Master Rune attached to his body and has developed a bit of a connection to Grimmnir's consciousness as well as channeling his power at times and is becoming an Avatar of Grimmnir. Something Gotrek is pissed off about as he feels that the God lied to him about meeting his Doom. So yeah, I don't think Grimmnir is coming back anytime soon, not with Gotrek still out and about.

Would love to hear what Dracothian is doing, and atleast some hints on whats up with Malerion. And I find it perfect that the Seraphon are going after the Gloomspite Gitz, makes sense really in the Seraphon have always had some problems with moons lol Also until proven otherwise I tend to go with the theory the realmgates were made by the old ones. They would know how too. Hmm, though I am concerned regarding that Slaanesh one. My guess he/she/they/it will escape next battletome.

I think it's more likely that morathi may be covering up malerion for some reason, rather than he doesn't exist. What that reason is, I don't know because it doesn't have anything to do with DESTRUCTION

Honestly if they had Dracothion as a model, he would likely be the size of a sofa. But no I'm pretty sure the next stormcast Chamber will be Drakoth Rider styled, likely with more flyer units and maybe dragon priests that wear reptilian death masks. Hopefully all female, but that's just me being wishlisty :p

Gotta say would be interested in seeing Malerion. Like at first I thought the idea goofy but the longer it has gone the more just curious I am. The Malerion is gone thing is more of a silly journalism joke in opinion like the seraphon coming from the bad moon. But just to entertain it maybe he found a way to be/or pretend to be Malekith again (kind of how mother dearest has the humanoid version to trick people with). Otherwise I guess pr-wise if Slaneesh comes back they need to make an impact, and the unseen shadow Aelves are better to take the brunt of it than the lumenith who are just now getting models. But honestly would think gw would save it for like Tyrion and a 2nd (assumption here that we end up having to wait for Tyrion and his own "chamber"-esque subfaction)realmlord expansion to deal with.

I would guess... One off Bugman model (cool, happy with that). I would hope that they don't make a model of Dracothion, I like that this massive God-Beast is massively powerful, kind of enigmatic and mysterious and I'd (personal opinion) love it to stay that way. I don't think Slaanesh will escape, not yet. I feel that'd be a massive story beat that would coincide with a new edition or something. I would be all about Grimnir coming back, bring it on I love all the gods cutting about (yes I know that contradicts my Dracothion argument!).

Calling it now : Duardin update ala Lumineth, focused on Bugman. SCE getting their big centrepiece Dracothion kit to fit with the lack of a "God" represented properly. Seems like it might be Dracothion instead of Sigmar? In terms of size, I imagine we'll get a Nagash situation where it's just a "representation" rather than him at full power. Fyreslayers getting a needed update with Grimnir being partly reborn in shards... because we need more "god" models! Malerion is "dead", probably some lore surrounding him being absent in a DOK related faction and then HUGE REVEAL HE'S ACTUALLY ALIVE! It seems to me like this is pointing to the beginnings of AOS 2.5. Plot movement away to the end of the Soul Wars with Order gaining a huge power boost with Teclis/Grimnir/Malerion/Bugman being represented, rounding off in a few years with a new edition pushing potentially Destruction as the "big bad" for a phase, in the way Chaos for 1.0 and Death for 2.0 has been??

I'm honestly happy to get any new models in general, be it for existing armies or new ones. I am definitely hyped for seraphon stuff but some dark semi demon whatever aelves are certainly not bad either EDIT: Except Stormcast, there's already such a massive volume of stormcast and I mean.... the design is very repetitive no matter how they coat them you'll always see them as Golden Boys

Ok, call me crazy but I don’t think Malerion is dead but he’s missing. During the End Times, he took a turn and his character ended up being one of the most heroic in the series. I think of all the gods of Sigmar’s Pantheon, he was the most loyal and has been working in secret with Sigmar. And where has Dracothian been? Working alongside the two. So we are going to get a Dark Elf force of dragon riders and they’ll be connected to a new Stormhost.
