Although Detroit was not in the top 16, its would have been interesting to see it's stats of buildings outside of the city core, including the 5 in Southfield (about 15 miles from downtown Detroit) and one in Troy (about 16 miles from the city core).

Thanks for viewing. Detroit is ranked 18th , just behind 17th ranked San Diego

Miami has become so big, wow. It's definitely about to be the next NYC & Chicago in terms of skylines. They just need a few more super talls.

Thanks for viewing. Miami has a lot of development outside of the city core. When you look at the city core ( within 10 miles and including the CBD ) Chicago excels Miami by over 500 more buildings , however when you look at total number of high-rises and skyscrapers within 30 miles and including the CBD , Chicago only excels Miami by 160+ buildings.

@@californiamade5608 emotionally yes.. but factually?.. no.. In terms of high-rises and skyscrapers in the 10mile core Miami excels LA by 100 buildings and at the 30mile range Miami excels LA by 360+ buildings.. Also Miami is currently building significantly more buildings( highrises/skyscrapers) than every city except NYC and ATL

@@californiamade5608 Eh, I love LA I visited in August of 2020 and LOVED it. BUT- to be a city of over 4 million just in the city proper it felt like I was in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Miami etc. I think Atlanta & Miami both have better skylines with way more potential

I’m in Miami now. Was here in Oct. It’s definitely not close to the top 2 but far exceeds the rest in every other way. Especially design. The biggest differentiator is most of the buildings in Miami are residential just like Chicago and NYC, whereas most of the buildings in the other cities are commercial. Atlanta, where I live, has a lot of residential high rises, and adding, but even here the bulk of the skyline, the tallest buildings, are commercial.

@@californiamade5608 lol, L.A. doesn't stand a chance of catching these cities and if your state keeps losing population due to being a shitshow, they might start knocking buildings down due to no business/tenants.

Does jersey city and Newark account for the total number of skyscrapers that’s in the radius area of NYC?

@TheSkylineKing2 жыл бұрын
thanks for viewing. Actually all of Forth Worth is included in the data (as noted in the notes under the "show more" tab ) Since the area is literally on the boundary margin it was included.

Actually if you took the time to read the copy you will noticed that ALL of Ft Worth is included in the numbers ( although some of the buildings in FW are outside of the 30mile zone we included ALL) We also included All of Fort Lauderdale with Miami (it’s sits on the 30 mile line also).. no Lies told.
