can you make a parts list and where i can buy all this parts?

You could at least use a decent multimeter!.

Seems simple. However in an industrial environment with start stop stations 15 20 feet apart running in conduit with multiple wires of different colors it can get very confusing

Where is the 1+1+1" came from?
@boblund8444Ай бұрын
Here is a much easier method. Rather than using 1/2 of the tangent, you can just multiply by the offset angle with a decimal in front of it. So for a 30 degree offset angle you would just multiply .3 times the center to center distance. Using my simplified method, the calculation would be .3 x 2.75 = .875 This is very close to what was calculated in the video .2679 x 2.75 = .737 The difference is about an 1/8 of an inch which would be negligible for parallel offsets. This is much easier to remember and doesn't require the use of trig tables or calculators with trig functions.

@AccessToPowerАй бұрын
@@yourstruly4864 you can use Excel or Google sheets, or you can use Numbers on a Mac to create spreadsheets

It would be better if you had the start and stop buttons horizontally mounted on the clear sheet. That way, it would look like pressing one of your nipples starts a device and the other stops it. A small artistic point but worth thinking about.

I was trained to use the shrink value for the angle I’m bending and multiply it by the center to center distance for parallel offsets. It works well. Just in case you don’t have an ugly book.
@anthonykneipiii45622 ай бұрын
At 10:27 in the video, you measure the distance of the pipes. Are you measuring the gap you wish to maintain from the center of the pipe that has the tape stretched over the top? Or are you measuring from the edge of that pipe to the edge of the pipe you already bent?
@anthonykneipiii45622 ай бұрын
Okay, guys… Not to rip on the instructor as his experience is truly impressive, and rewarding to learn from. However… To find the multiplier of *any* angle isn’t as simple as “just checking in the Ugly’s book for what the value should be for the angle of the bend” because one might have an angle that’s not listed that they might still need to find. To find the multiplier of *absolutely ANY angle*, you use the cosecant of the angle you’re working with, or csc (theta), which equals the fraction of… (1/[sin theta]) …which will give you the multiplier value of *any angle*. However, there’s still one more step to achieving this value that is ALWAYS helpful. If you know that you have to bend at a certain angle and can’t find the value of sine as the denominator, you can convert the angle to radians by… multiplying [angle] * (pi radians/180), then reduce the fraction. Using sin of this *also* gives you what the multiplier is, with the numerator being 1 - a key component of the unit circle.

I mis-spoke when i said Normally Closed... It is a normally open contact at 13/14. You can see this on the closeup at minute 7:06. You can see the NO next to the 14.
