if you meant Red-Bellied Piranha, then yes the Red Bellied Piranha and Blackspot Piranha are different species. (Pygocentrus nattereri(red-bellied) vs Pygocentrus cariba(black spot)) It can be hard to tell them apart, Georgia Aquarium actually mixes both species and lets just say I spent ages looking at my photos trying to see which fish was which species haha

They are definitely Americans, most of them have a hamster running in the wheel instead of a brain. 😂

I remember when hyacinths cost around 8k, boy have they gone up in price the last 25 years. I have 2 african greys now, 1 is 25, the other younger. The 25 was a rescue of sorts, the other came after my grandma died. The bird didn't seem to care much, adapted very quickly, and had a long red eye plane ride in the cockpit entertaining the pilots. The older bird is very sensitive though, too much stress and he picks. The 2 of them are inseparable. I grew up with a yellow nape that hated me lol, jealousy! I've had conures, budgies, amazons, the 2 greys, and a hen eclectus who was the sweetest thing, but had to rehome as all she wanted was to breed, and was a fussy eater with their special diet. She went to someone who was retired and could devote the time needed. She was originally in a nature center so got to be around many different people and kids all the time, so was used to whatever. My fav breed is the yellow nape even though the one hated me. I just love their voice.

Birds should not be kept as pets. Big birds are not pets! Shame on you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this video was so cool, I loved the little cuttlefish and the Japanese pinecone fish was beautiful! I wish we could have seen the octopus better, but his tentacles were super cool to see. Thanks for sharing.

They're a wonderful animal, very sweet nature and gentle. You will get attached but they don't live long, but longer than pet rats for sure. Most states don't allow them for some reason, but there's no other reason really to not have one around.
