I ordered two velvet spiders from Tom at one love. When i went to pick them up i ended up with my forst tarantula, a GBB. Which is really aweome. The next time i saw them i purchased a Brazilian Black. I also have two jumpers from them. Tom and his wife Angel are really awesome people. I highly recommend them.

I love Tom & Angel at One Love! I have to admit a LOT of my t's are from them, helps that they are local and travel over quite a bit of the midwest for shows. 😅

Tom helped me out with my first scorpion I purchased from him. Him and Angel, I can't say enough about. And Dav thank you for your work and information!

Nice video! All three of my tarantulas came from One love tarantulas. I love mine.

The other thing i think to consider (and i get most of your audience probably dont have this issue) is a food plan. Raising or having a steady supplier of live food items as i think spiders generally prefer live, their hunting triggered by movement rather than heat or smell. Easier in some countries than others maybe? Also needing to keep feeders alive, and gut loading properly. Reptiliatus has a great video on doing that. Open to any corrections from the community but thats my personal barrier to owning one despite the beautiful varieties we have in our country and following many tarantula keeping content creators. Haven't figured out a good sustainable food situation (yet). One day 😊.

Agreed the invertebrate keeping hobby and reptile keeping hobby definitely overlap. Glad to see more attention given to people making the invertebrate hobby better!

Tarantulas really are gaining popularity. I love them so much. My fiancé and I have about 50 arachnids between the two of us, some of them from One Love Tarantulas. We know Tom and his wife Angel personally; they are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Great video Dav!

❤Would like to see more about keeping jumping spiders. Had one which would jump onto a strand of thread to eat a tiny crumb of hamburger. Beautiful pedipalps.

I think tarantulas are interesting. I live in the PNW and think my city would be a good location for an expo; but, that thought doesn't seem to be shared by many. I've seen tarantulas at the pet store; but, when I ask questions, I don't think I get good answers. I might as well look my questions up on Wikipedia.
