Watching Peter do "Back In NYC" as he originally performed it 50 years ago now is utterly mesmerizing. I keep playing that segment over and over again. There are also some classic moves in "Slipperman" and I can hear his vocal through the costume just fine!

Just found Citadel at a random record store, I’m only 20 I’ve never heard these guys but the album caught my attention and they make some amazing music, sad they never got the fame they deserved

I just passed the 50th anniversary of the The Lamb concert I saw on the opening two nights at the Chicago Auditorium Theatre, November 20-21, 1974. (I was at the second show, which also featured "Watcher of the Skies.") Such a monumental event!

THNAK YOU for restoring and sharing these precious bits of the 1978 "Mirror" tour! I was fortunate to see the same show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion Amphitheater in Columbia, Maryland there months earlier in July. The bands energy was stellar as were the performances.

How do you spend such extraordinary time and effort on the technical restoration, and then misspell the name of the tour in a nonsensical way in the opening titles (0:24)? And Then There Were There? WTF!

Sorry. It's obvious where we focus our time and where we don't. Probably not my first typo, probably won't be my last 🤷

I remember watching Genesis perform the “Lamb” on the Liverpool Empire in 74/75, I was lucky to see them as the original tour was cancelled due to Steve Hacket severing a tendon in his hand, by the time the tour had been rescheduled I had bought and got to know the album and managed to get a ticket. I was a bit disappointed that the only other song they did was the Musical Box though and didn’t know at the time that they would never tour again with Peter Gabriel.

I was at these shows, I'm sure there was a sunday afternoon matinee too? I virtually lived at The Liverpool Empire from '76-mid 80's, saw so many bands & all for less than £4.00, now my son 's band sell out the empire every year, crazy world!

Why put any compression on this?
@GenesisMuseum8 күн бұрын
If you mean audio compression, we sometimes use a small amount in the upper-mids because it brings out the percussion (snare, cymbals, etc) in some older tapes that can sound muffled or dull. However, we make all of these projects to sound and look best to us, and may not match everyone's preferences. In addition, KZbin uses low bitrates and high compression that can affect the results as well.
@Radarcb3298 күн бұрын
@ Thanks, I did mean audio compression.

I saw this tour when I was 15 in an outdoor summer concert. I was blown away with sound and lights....especially the mirrors. It was an effect that to this day still stands up. I've seen Genesis 4 times well into the vari- light era but this tour still stays with me. Best recording of the mirror tour I've seen. Well done. Thank you
