I just had an idea. What is Amanda ISNT actually Rebecca. At least not in the way everyone thinks. What if “Amanda” is simply a product of the ritual, a split personality in a way. Hamelyn wants her to behave and go with the program, what better way than brainwashing her into forgetting her old life? Rebecca is constantly fighting for control, it’s WHY she hates Wooly so much. Because he acts friendly and wants her to give in to the programming and fully lose herself, but she sees through his act now. It also explains why at times she seems confused or acts erratically.

On the other way, even since the Pilot game, Wooly wants the tapes to be destroyed ! When Joanne didn’t do it (in the true ending), Wooly himself came to probably do it after gruesomely killing Joanne. My theory is that he wants the tape destroyed so that nobody could see Amanda ever again, and so save her. But she wants us to leave the tapes intact (as shown in the Pilot where a force stopped a man from burning the tapes), so that there may be a chance !

You know I have a lot of opinions on a lot of horror stuff but if I had to say which one fucks me up the most I think hearing the screams of a victim being fucking killed slowly has to be on the podium for sure. I mean this is common in every horror thing ever. It happens at least once wether on or off scream right? But here you just have Joanne screaming in pain in the fucking pitch black darkness as a monster wooly is tearing her apart piece by piece. And I thought that it was terrible when she was still left alive for a few seconds so she was still screaming as we go down the ladder but then the screams go from muffled behind a solid wall to RIGHT IN MY EARS THROUGH A WALKIE TALKIE! ONCE AGAIN IN PITCH FUCKING BLACK! Jesus christ this damn game is dark as hell and there's nothing really "extreme" happening in this game.
