Hello, just brought the R10 with the 18-150mm kit lens. Found it used in excellent state for around 560$ and couldn’t passes it up. I do mainly interior and furniture photography, so what lens would you recommend for this usage ? I do street photography as well but the 18-150 already does a great job.

Hey! Anything wide angle. I'd recommend maybe the 28mm 2.8 or the 16mm 2.8. Either would do the job!

I've always been a big fan of the M series. I don't know if there's anyone else out there like me but when I'm not making money shooting, it's hard for me to get into my pelicans and lug around a "real" camera. The M6II makes shooting fun and it's small footprint make traveling with it a no brainer.
@AndrewKnepper9 күн бұрын
Yeah it's a shame they discontinued the EF-M lineup because it's so useful having a small portable camera! The M6 Mark III would have been amazing...

Cheap is pretty relative, but the R10 is affordable for what you get! If you want something really cheap go for the R100 or the R50!

That 15Fps was definitely about 5-7fps as max. Remember that 1Dx3 did 16Fps and it sounded like a machine gun... Also it is called "burst shooting" not shutter speed.

Yeah I realized that after making this review, but the 23 fps is totally silent. Way faster then I really need, but for those who need higher burst shooting it's a great beginner option!

The Canon 32mm f1.4 is the best M mount lens and much smaller than the equivalent Sigma but it is the most expensive prime made for the mount. You get what you pay for. The 22mm is very sharp too. However for me the excellent 11 to 22mm zoom with IS is the most versatile.

Is the quality of the printed photos better or worse than like a mini 40?
@AndrewKnepper14 күн бұрын
Image quality when using a picture taken on the camera itself looks a little better than a regular Insta Mini and whenever you import them from your phone I think the quality looks even better. I haven't used the mini 40 so I can't say for sure but I would imagine it's similar to the Insta Mini.

Hi! I've watched a couple of your videos and I'm convinced by your experience I have a question. I currently have a M50 Mark II with the Sigma 16mm and only use them for guitar covers I'm already convinced that I don't need to change the lens for the Sigma 30mm but my big question is if I should change my M50 for a better camera to get better video quality and facilities like connecting the camera to the computer for streaming Thanks for the video and thanks in advance if you read my comment!
@AndrewKnepper15 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! The Sigma 16mm and the Canon M50 Mark II is a great combination! If you're not already, I'd recommend using manual settings, as well as work on your lighting if you're looking for better quality. A good quality main light and some backlighting goes a long way! And using manual settings is a great way to get the most potential out of that camera!

I think it depends on what focal length you want. I would say the 35mm might be a little bit more versatile on an APS-C sensor.

Worked in cameras for a good time and studied and played with all sorts of cameras, I even bought myself the Canon r10 with the kit lens (18-45) shown. Here’s a tip, if you go with an apsc (r10 or r7 since the r100 and r50 are not worth it in my opinion) buy the 18-150 lens. Yes it’s more cost, but that lens swings well above its weight, and is sharp as can be for its cost. That lens can do some light (family and friends) portrait work, and even some kids daytime sporting events. It isn’t made of just plastic like this one is. If there’s one thing to know about canon rf lenses, you cheap out and you’ll pay later.
@AndrewKnepperАй бұрын
Thanks for the info! I haven't used the 18-150mm but it sounds like a good lens to have in your lineup!

That Fulaim X5 is waaaaaay more than "content creation". Used it for film with better lapel mics, it's VERY high quality no noise. Fantastic distance, (for me...)no drop outs even with me being by a wireless tower. Now That UHF one is a great pro-sumer. It's extremely similar if not the same as the Fulaim WM500. Your s comes with the same exact syst5em. The lapel mics are far from that kit lens like feel too. They are much better than the cheap ones from ebay and pop-go from amazon. The dynamics are much higher. One thing I love about yours though is the antennas can come off! The WM500 don't have that nor lightning cable. The range is nothing close to yours but like you said, who the hell gonna be that far LOL. Damn good system for when you need to be in another room or out of the area for a "chase around the house" kinda scene. Great tests though. You can hack these for greater range and stronger signals too. I am that nerd LOL(we not nerd nerd but nerd-like LMAO!)

@AndrewKnepperАй бұрын
The R10 doesn't feel cheap as far as the material goes, (maybe cheap in comparison to there higher end cameras) but it is lightweight and that sometimes makes it feel like a cheaper camera when I'm using it.
