lovely! and so informative. you treat the synth as an instrument rather than relying on presets and recorded movements. very instructional. Thank you!

That was a killer session. Somewhat related, what cable/adapter are you running from the power bank to the MF?

I’ve yet to hear wingie sound bad. I’m so close to getting one - but playing live is a big part of my relationship with music. I’m worried it can’t be used live with its contact microphones because of fold back sound. Am I being an idiot? I also appreciate that this might not be designed for that application either which would be entirely understandable

These two synths were truly life changing for me. Sometimes I use them to add extra touches to a song, other times I let myself get completely lost in the seemingly infinite textures. Unique, strange, beautiful pieces of gear.

Amazing performance... wow... I need assistance with setting up my audio connections. What type of cables should I use to connect the MS-70 to the MicroFreak synthesizer? Additionally, how can I merge the stereo outputs of the MS-70 into a single input on my interface? Is this possible?
@Waveformer4 ай бұрын
Thank you for listening :-). You need a 6.5 mm (the standard jack size, not the mini) mono jack to mono jack to connect the MicroFreak to the Zoom. As for what you need to connect the Zoom to your interface, that depends on what kind of interface you have. If you just want a mono signal into your interface, you can probably use the same cable I mentioned above.

I'm attempting a similar setup, but when running audio out from Koala (or anything, actually) to my mix in, it only comes through the left channel of my mixer. The S-1 is coming through stereo. I'm using a patch cable, suddenly thinking I should be using a regular aux cable 🤔 Edit: That was (in retrospect, obviously) the culprit.

Thanks for including the Effect Patch Text - I uploaded the 3 onto my MS-70CDR - Excited to try them out! -- At 1st when I uploaded the Text, it wasn't allowing all the parameters to upload. I did a Firmware Update & things worked better. I wanted to pass this along, in case others are having that issue. Thanks so Much for the Video & Inspiration!
