A DJI Mini 4 Pro Rebuild

I have KZbinr Ken Heron's drone back on the bench. He was at a Kentucky boat show when he let a wee lad test his drone....it didn't go well. This repair is quite a bit more involved. Follow a long as we try to restore Ken's drone to flight status.‪@DJI‬

Do you know the reference of the 5.8Ghz chip? Did you take a look at those parts?

I did not. You have to take the shielding off to see it and there was no reason for me to do that.

Letting a "little tike" fly your drone isn't being an ambassador for the hobby. It's the kind of thing that makes the FAA put ever increasing scrutiny on us and makes it harder for all of us, especially those who make a living at it. Please, flyers out there... don't be "that guy."

hi, is there a twist to get the covers back on of the arms/section that holds the gimbal? I cant get the side where the motor sits back on flush. it kind of doesnt sit right

It’s difficult. You really have to work with those pieces. They will pop back in eventually. I tore one on the Mini 3 Pro rebuild and had to replace it.

at 45:21 How you are attaching those small parts near gimbal. What is the name of this part. Please let me know. I have minor shift in those area which needs to be fixed. Thanks a lot in advance

I would like to know the same thing because I crashed mine and the fall hit this part near the gimbal, the plastic finish on the sides, I put it back but does not look like the other side :(
