I think every digital artist drew their animated/OC crushes boning tbh. Im inclined to believe its part of almost every artists journey if they start drawing young.

I honestly feel like this movie would have been better as a series it would give us more character development, more opportunities to flesh out the curse, and more ways to implement horror that actually scares anybody that isn't an art critic.

Okay so, off topic, I was watching one of your old videos where you were using the octo stills and my mom looked over at what I was watching which showed you drawing smth with your still on front and she said " I like that, I like that art right there " Sooo my mom likes your stuff😎 that means you're cooooll

Imagine being happy that you as a community bullied another creator into deleting their creation because she's a "mary sue." Apprently if you have more than one romantic partner or to similar to a preexisting male character you're a mary sue guys! The misogyny was WILD back then 😂

I feel like the producers of this movie could have taken some inspiration from IB. It’s an old RPG Horror game where a little girl gets trapped in a world occupied by one man’s art and has to escape. There are many ways the MC can die to the various art pieces in the gallery and any of those would be great inspiration for some of these death scenes.

They cast Rhedora really well. The angular face, tight lips, pompous rich way of carrying herself, bright makeup hiding cruelty.... She just LOOKS like a mean person. In fact she reminds me a lot of someone whose constant criticism and invalidation and self-important arrogance gave my younger self lasting trauma :) even has a similar name too. As an artist I feel really seen by this movie and your video, in a good way. Vindicated even.

Idea: The curse could also have a sort of flipside to try and help other tormented artists so they are not trapped tha same way he is. For example, a young adult artist troubled by past abuse is pulled into a painting depicting the abuse they went through, only here, they're strong enough to fight back and protect the younger children. When they are released from the painting, it now shows an angel protecting said children from whoever was going to harm them.

art death based on my own interpretation of the orb being a perception of ones self and surroundings: said person locks eyes with their reflection and cant look away, to their own horror. their vision is completely of the orb, only able to view their surroundings through its reflection, only able to stare directly at their own horrified gaze as hands begin reaching out from its surface, grabbing and pulling at the person like a desperate animal, ripping apart skin and flesh and sinew in their attempt to pull the person into the orb as the world goes on around them through its reflection until all thats left on its surface is, as if poured onto the orb, a stain of blood, slowly dripping onto the floor. the orb sees all. the orb is eternal. you will be a part of the orb. edit: OOH OOH ALSO.. THE IDEA OF A TATTOO ARTISTS TATTOOS BURNING INTO THEIR SKIN....

1:17:03 - This whole thing is so dumb. A Scottish man making Mexican food does not prevent Mexican’s from making that same food. A Scottish man making a Mexican restaurant doesn’t prevent Mexican people from making food that’s a part of their culture or starting their own restaurant(other things do make it difficult but we aren’t talking about that rn). Taking cultural items that hold spiritual, cultural, and historical importance to a people and putting them in an entirely new place does prevent the people from seeing those items. They will end up in private collections where they’ll never get to see, in museums where they have to pay and/or can only enter at specific times, and a lot of them - a WHOLE lot of them - will end up in storage where no one will ever see them. She doesn’t explain that though. She says ‘don’t have criminal intent’, making it really seem like she doesn’t actually care that much about the exploitation of her culture and the people who put so much effort into artwork and crafting and building have their work stolen and profited off of. Wait a second-

17:00 Have to admit, based off your description of the film I just kinda assumed Damrish was a graffiti artist. Black man who is this Hot New Thing, this is an art gallery so he's not a singer, in real life while the movie was being made I'm pretty sure Graffiti was the/a "Hot New Thing", and my expectations for this movie had been set low + he's seems to be the only black person with a natural hairstyle so I was just like 'I see what you're doing movie'. At first I was kinda hoping he'd be something like really out there since he's exceptional but I was thinking Like an Artist.

Art Death with something inspired by "Persistence of Memory". You know, the melting clocks. Its one of those slow burns, as they walk through the gallery things seem to move, until theres realization that their clothes are starting to melt much like the pieces display, and turn it to a panicked, visceral scene of someone watching themselves literally melt away until at the end theyre a vaguely human shape, a puddle on the ground and apart of the exhibit.

Assemblage death: Person is ripped apart and pieces of their body is pieced together to the art piece like the blob from Inside. Maximalist: They are consumed by the hoard that has accumulated around them and can no longer be found. Pottery: they become the clay being molded and was turned into a vase to be used and passed around to benefit others.
