I used to see those disposables thrown all over the place, not so many these days though, I will collect them when I see them now, I have made battery belts for my cameras and linked with a false battery connector and lead, they take an eternity to charge though.

When I dont want to glue a project I use a paint on gasket "paint' that car mechanics use for engine rebuilds. Ive had success using this with everything from storing food underground in wet areas to small and large electronic builds. It helps keep elements and grime from working theit way into the projectm. I even hsd success using it to make a drone that was capable of crashing into the water snd not being damaged. But for that priject i also water proofed the cabling with solder points on each end so water couldnt creep through the coating and the stranded wiring and used nail polish on the circuit board. Just had to rethink some after market heat dispersement since it was harder for the chips and board to disperse. Actually been modding any laptoos and tablets and phones using this simple method since college and have had 3 moments where i was glad i did :)
