When you’re doing it for explosive reasons, do you have to do it in a fast motion?
@COREStrongFitness12 күн бұрын
It’s best to use force when performing this exercise. So if you need to use a lighter weight to move faster I’d suggest that.

Im trying to implement this as a pitcher, so I only have a 4lb ball at home but do alot of reps. I enjoy the exercise, but my lower back usually tightens up or feels stiff the next day. Normal soreness or is my form off? Lol
@COREStrongFitnessАй бұрын
I’d say cut back on reps and focus on form and core tension. Although the low back is being used it shouldn’t lead to excessive tension or soreness.
@w1ntertide29 күн бұрын
@@COREStrongFitness okay thanks! I was doing it in between exercises to get more reps but i think its better to do it on a seperate day
@COREStrongFitness29 күн бұрын

This video needs to be taken down IMMEDIATELY. My daughter just spent the day in the ER due to a med ball that BOUNCED and hit her in the face!! 😡😡😡
@COREStrongFitness6 ай бұрын
Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope she’s OK. Oh my gosh! I will put a disclaimer to this video to use a slam ball and not a rubberized medicine ball. Hope she heals quickly
@waltersteyger12155 ай бұрын
She learned a valuable lesson that day. How in gods name do you put yourself in the ER by bouncing a ball. When I was young we played soccer with a basketball and those fuckers can hit you real hard in the face. Never had any issue except a headache and a red burning face.
