Keep in mind that in Europe the Mini 4 is in a "0 Class" therefore cannot fly above 120 Meters high. However the Mini 3 can fly upto 500 meters hig in one go. I am not sure if the height restriction is the same in the USA or Canada 😊

I have 2 questions. I've never owned a drone before. I started doing research & fell in love with the Mini 3 Pro. I was just about to buy it & some people told me to wait. question 1 Do you think it will be released in the fall? If so I can wait question 2 (I'm just curious as a new person in the drone world) My friend told me that one of his drones have been discontinued. I think he said it's a Spark. my question is what happens when a drone is discontinued? Are you no longer allowed or able to fly it or something in that nature? Just wondering.

1. My thoughts on release date @2.28 2. Discontinued drones will still work fine. It’s just people generally want to have the latest tech. But the mini 3 pro will remain a great little drone, same as people still fly the mini 2

I've been using the mini 3 pro for a few months. It's a great little drone. Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance with active track 5.0 would be very useful though. It's something the mini 3 pro struggles with.

I recommend if you have the mini 2 already to wait. If you don’t have a drone and a trip planned soon then the mini 3 pro is brilliant

1:51 yes. Air2s is 1inch, and Air3 is 1/1.3 inch. But pixel size is both 2.4 micrometer. And I heard,the rumor that Air2s’s CMOS is DJI products, Air3’s one is SONY products.

First of all, I'm from the Netherlands and many rules are slightly different here than in the UK. And RID does not seem to be a good thing right away, but it may well become one. Now you can only fly Vlos with the new RID, but this might change. Because commercial companies would like to use the airspace for, for example, delivering orders and if there is no RID, software cannot know whether there are other drones somewhere and those commercial companies are not allowed to take to the air with those drones because this is simply prohibited. And if every drone has RID and those commercial drones that fly in BVLos are allowed to fly in the air and if they are allowed to do so, it is strange if others are not allowed to do so. So RID is not perfect and much does not need to be disclosed, just first 5 of the number and altitude and GPS of the drone. There is really no need for anyone with a phone to be able to look for the drone pilot. So there is a lot for and a lot against, I hope they think about this carefully and ask drone pilots what they think about what should and shouldn't be done with that RID. As far as I have read, RID is not necessary for the MIni 4 Pro, but it is included. We will see.

In the UK, sat for years waiting for a moment to buy a Drone; what’s the recommendation or your suggestions the mini pro 3 or the newer sensor and 2 lens , I passed the CCA test yesterday and have my flyer ID, and given potential restrictions to the sub 250g. I don’t want to get buyer regret .

Hi Dave, it depends what type of shots you enjoy. If it’s mostly mountaineering then the Air 3. Generally though in the UK the mini 3 pro opens up far more locations

@@nathangibbs9898 For sure! I have a dji mini 3 pro and I take it everywhere! I LOVE IT!!! I have flown it for hundreds of hours. I will NOT buy any other drone but JUST DJI MINI 3 PRO. The portability is EXTREMELY important, not to mention all the restrictions and requirements that DJI mini 3 pro is not subject to.

and I'll just do what I want. Fifty years of working on planes at Heathrow and things there just got worse each year with restrictions. Where security tried to remove tools needed for work and also used to take my camera away, to collect when I left the central area. All just jobs worth.

The cynic in me thinks the opinions of drone users will be ignored. We'll eventually get what businesses want. Brown envelopes and all that. This consultation document is full of ambiguity, the questions and responses are impenetrably vague and open ended. For example, what is meant by "exclusions" for sub 250g drones? Its not made clear. The question and multi-choice responses give me the impression that the body undertaking the survey haven't a clue what they're doing. I have no faith in the DfT or the CAA to preserve the existing situation whereby we are free to enjoy filming with Mini drones mostly anywhere.

Hello from Mike in the US. Remote ID goes fully into effect in September 2023. And things are just getting harder. They're actually trying to all out ban DJI drones in my state Michigan. I think Florida has them banned already possibly autel as well not 100%. Scared what's to come especially after seeing a video of some guy flying a drone right in front of the path of a airliner literally right in front and above. Thank God nothing bad happened but it is those things that mess things up. Also they keep saying DJI blacklisted for national security reasons since 2019 with zero proof so far. I mean our cell phones pick up all the sensitive information anybody would ever need. I don't know what just really seems like they're picking on DJI and drones in general. By doing that they're hurting anybody who enjoys the hobby. That and the guy that flew that drone by the airplane things like that.

Don’t worry too much, i live near an AMA flying field signal seekers radio control club near DTW airport and i can still fly around my area( 5 miles from airport) all my drones from the air 2s/mini 3 Pro/Mavic 3 Pro can take off.. but near willow run airport around Romulus, my drone wound not take off😂

Agreed gdpr and personal and sensitive data is completely out of scope for drones when gdpr data is not photos it's just any excuse for restrictions and in that vain remote I'd should be both a security and gdpr risk for a drone pilot.what possible reason could they have for that data freely available in real on an app? There's are clear civil liberties issues and rules for enforcement that are unclear whe this is a state sponsored tracking system that no other hobby or even vehicles use case have. Very worrying the big brother approach and smacks of Orwell's 1984. If restricted airspace was encroached and then remote I'd switched on and only viewable by law enforcement then I could understand but to have your flight logs wherever your flying is disproportionate and even cvr and FDR are not required in all aircraft so why drones. Also where's the evidence to substantiate these comments , claims of concerns the caa comment on also type approval and mandatory registration of the uav is proposed at first startup.
