Thanks homey, it's sometimes the most obvious things that turn out to be a mistake. I didn't see the "add tracker point" button and my tracker didn't start because of that.

Every 3d designer should watch this video because the lighting tips you give are essential to our work! Well done!!

It’s not all there already. eg. Fusion page is functional but many of the nodes do not work or watermark your video. All nodes seem to work in the paid version but you still have to use the KB trick to get the pages shown. In addition you will have to go through this KB trick each time you close and reopen the app whether paid version or not. A real pain given the paid version is £99.

I was fairly quick in Premiere, Resolve and even Avid. I got the keyboard, and instantly got about 5 times faster in Resolve. A total of 3 actions to select part of a clip and ripple delete. Avid takes 5. I also don't have to select the clip, just use the scroll wheel to put the playhead over the clip I want to delete. And that's just one function. The most amazing piece of hardware I've ever used. Worth every penny, and more.

I just bought this keyboard and I was just thinking "surely there is a way to do most of the edit without the mouse" and came across your quick tips. VERY helpful. Would love to see more of these quick videos showing how this keyboard can be used like this.

This is great. Short and sweet. I didn’t take into account the inside car lighting when doing my first car mount shot

I don't know why, but with my editor keyboard this works only by pressing SLIP SEARCH + A (normal) simultaneously and using the jog wheel, otherwise, the selected clips aren't moving.

Everything you're saying is why films look like SHIT now! It's funny how you are sitting over exposed with horrible turning of form... and right next to you is beautifully exposed, with colour and form turning like clay... And for 49 minutes you're like... "there's no annoying blinds shaddow everywhere" In other words film, movies, shows look like Z grade level student films.... and it's this type of nerd teaching... The actual good cinematographers back THEN were looking at paintings and actually understood value and turning form. This teaching is why everything looks flat, and is shot on a red, but looks like it was shot on an iphone 1 and there's talcum powder all over the lense or something... 🤦🏻♂️

As a classical oil painter, you're a nerd, and you're actually saying that the EXACT thing you DO want to do is the wrong thing to do... 🤦

I don't get it. When you say that lighting looks flat on a face and even go as far as to say "bad, bad, bad" all I see is a pleasant looking shot. You don't write a song that's just choruses from start to finish, surely the same logic applies to lighting? Why light something that's supposed to feel casual in a dramatic fashion? Am I missing something?

BIt late to the party but this is a total game changer with the ease of changing height. Next best thing would be a single lever that releases all of the legs at once, and then you can raise/lower with all the legs impacted equally! Do you find it's easy enough to make micro adjustments in any case?
