Wow very interesting video, the only thing I would do different is use a hot dog instead of your finger like the other channel who stuck a hot dog on the am radio tower... Better to smoke the hot dog than the tip of your finger. OUCH !!!!

You need to use electromagnets and have transistors timed to only kick on for a quick push at the right time as the opposing magnet passes. If the magnet is always on then it wants to stick as it passes. Use the rotation to generate the power that causes the rotation. Sounds good in theory right? 😅

I always wash completely because I'm smart enough to understand that when there's no power going through the circuits, there's no risk of damage.

Washing completely sounds like a safe bet with most TV remote controls. When dealing with circuit boards that have ball grid array connections, I'd probably hold a heat gun on such ICs to make sure no hidden water remained lodged under the IC.

Great video! Thank you for sharing! One question: What AWG/gauge of wire do you use for your 200-foot-long wire antenna? I want to put one up around the yard outside for my own crystal radio. Thanks again for these informative videos.

I think the stranded wire I used was close to 20 gauge.

@GrantsPassTVRepair
@GrantsPassTVRepair Күн бұрын
In my case I hooked them up, and watched the signal disappear on their outputs, but some of the diplexers should have some information printed on their label. and many splitters will have a label which lists their frequency range, and how much they attenuate the signal.

The reason Newman used 8000lbs of copper worw was 2 fold. Firstly to generate a large magnetic field, but the main reason he posited was that it had to be long enough so the current never left the coil. This wqs because of faradays statement of energy not being lost if it never returned back to its source. Newman also stated an electronic flyweel was possible, never expilicitly, but likely by diodes/transistors or using SCRs. The effect of having such a massive coil was one of the main reasons he got so much torque, and others in the science field have called it the newman effect when aonething is 8 times more massive than it needs to be.

@richardmobius9610
@richardmobius9610 3 күн бұрын
No I haven't. But Newman mentioned you only needed EMF, current was simply to inertia of the gyroscopic energy created by the spinning atoms, all you need to do is move them off axis slightly, and that created the gyroscopic precession which moved the magnet/shaft. No way can you smoothly start such an enormous mass of that mud pump without either an enormous current, or the effects he mentioned. "The Oxford bell" experiment in about 1864. It is in a vacuum, and it generates nearly a million volts and it is still running. Newman said it was perpetual energy and he was wrong to say that, but he did engineer I think, one of the most efficient methods of creating mechanical energy from electrical energy, because those 2 systems are 90 degrees apart on real terms around an axis

is this disinformation? dont care how you call it, hot or ground if you touch something to 110v with bare foot you get shocked.... so many bros fried every year playing with transformers making wood art fractal with microwave transformes that is the same principle but more dangerouns. I can get the point of your analisis. Anyways you diagram is incorrect you tell are no hot or ground side in the transformer out but you lie. The is the lenz law, faraday thing and other phenomena where the transformer coil makes a hot and ground poles alternatively at his frecuency og operation. Nothing make sense here. its just bullthing

for those not in the know; Earth generates low level electricity. And in the case of trees, the electricity accumulates on the trunk, at a rate of 100 votes every 3 feet. So tall tree tops can accumulate over 10,000 volts easy. This in turn bends the electric fields which in turn affect/effect broadcasted waves. Add to that the water in the leaves and branches absorbs energy thus killing or deadening the signal. I have nothing against trees, it's just when it comes to receiving broadcast signals it is one of many things you have to seriously take into consideration. very fine presentation...job well done.

you might be attenuated to a frequency your detector detects. A long time ago, 1987, I was attending school. In the communications portion, we had to construct an AM/FM Transistor Radio. I was listening to the local spanish language station as I constructed the output section (pre-amp, amp, and speaker). I had not begun any construction on the input/signal side, just my finger on the pre-amp input wire.

Thank you for the video. Electrical Apprentice here in Texas. Question: Am I right to assume that in most scenarios two of the three elements of power will be written or indicated on the device I'm using? In the video, you knew the amps and voltage - is that normally accessible by reading the electrical information on the device or did you calculate those before you plugged them into the watt formula?
@GrantsPassTVRepair
@GrantsPassTVRepair 12 күн бұрын
Yes many devices will list the power they consume such as my toaster, which says it uses 750 Watts, but it doesn't have the voltage or amps listing on it. My electric heater lists the amperage, voltage, and wattage is uses, but as you probably know, they didn't really need to list the wattage since you can figure out the wattage by multiplying the voltages it uses times the current in amperage that it consumes.

The direction of the horizontal arrows in your diagram should face to the left. The fault current will flow from the hot of the transformer to the socket outlet to the body of the equipment through your body into ground, up the ground wire and to the left back to the source, which is the transformer, not the socket outlet.

It seems like you should at least try getting it to pulse like Joseph had it since you already have come this far with the project. Geometry also will play a factor as we are playing with magnetic field collapse. I appreciate your transparency but it seems like replications are not replicates.... I would think a small battery is much more cost effective to provide a trigger impulse than making another entire generator that you then have to have a ballist and recitify. That field would also interfere.

It's been my experience that when a VCR has loading arms that fail to reach their resting point, it's likely to be from a broken gear tooth that's causing a misalignment problem.

A decade ago, my older brother and I witnessed a energetic node fed an *unenergized* computer we were using, inadvertently, and we made a video I lost. 1st time in my life I see an ATX power supply activated another computer not directly energized, but it functioned less than 15 minutes. Yet I saw the OS worked once I saw the BIOS sign appeared on another screen we have close to the energized OLD computer we certainly tried to check if it was alive.
