@@noahh1997 I currently have 308,000 miles and it runs and looks as good as it did when I made this video. No major maintenance. I assume they all had soft closing trunk but I’ve read that many of them stop working after awhile. Mine still works. I’m not sure if I missed any features in the video as I haven’t watched it since I first posted it. Maybe I’ll watch it and see. 80k is brand new, good find.

@@waxlex6451 GS had a more performance tuned motor delivering more hp and torque than the ES until 2019 when the ES received the same motor and the GS was discontinued in America in 2020.

I haven’t done that since it was new but if you follow the link in the description of my video it will take you to the GROM website and you should be able to find instructions there.

​@@alfredlyon27 i got a 2008 GS350 a few months ago as my 2003 IS300 becomes small for me yet still runs great. The more i check on youtube about Gen3 GS, the more i like it - classy look, reliable engine, and smooth ride. Amazing your car still runs great on such a high milage, that inspires me to keep it for the long run. Also learn some features from your video... Cheers!

Of course they recommend 91 octane but it will run fine with 87. People say it reduces your mpg and hp though. I always use 91

I was comparing it to the fusion because of the age difference. The fusion was a brand new 2019 at the time and my Lexus was a 2008. I understand that initial quality was different but as far as technology leaps it wasn’t that far off. The fusion had many more safety features though.

This model year (2008) did not have Bluetooth for music, only for phone calls. The sound quality with the GROM is great.

Yes, all stock features still work. Even while using CarPlay the steering wheel buttons will skips songs and adjust volume.

Yes, you can stream music via Bluetooth by itself or using wireless Apple CarPlay. Android Auto is only wired but Bluetooth for android works for streaming. No videos will play but you can listen to the audio of videos. There is a cheat for video play but I’m distracted enough while driving

I currently have a little over 305,000 miles. Since the video I have had no issues. Only just changed out the alternator but that’s easy and the part was free because it had a lifetime warranty. It still runs and looks like new. I am actually on a 1,000 mile road trip right now.

Miracles happen. The surgery was a success. My recovery was good. My immunotherapy treatments went well. I’m pretty much back to normal.

I went to my Lexus dealership and purchased the most recent DVD. 2016 is the last one that they made for the third generation GS

The GS is a larger car and tends to have more standard features than the IS but the IS will be a lot more sporty and they handle much better. Both will be reliable great cars.
