I currently own a GS. I’m just getting to replacing things at 266,XXX. I have the white frost aka Pearl paint. Man the lines on these cars are perfect and that 2gr-FSE engine is bulletproof. Bout to engine swap and ride this baby out until the wheels fall off

i have a 2010 gs 350 with stock system model # 86431-30200 that many of these aftermarket systems do not offer a compatable system due to mine having a "SET UP" button in addition to the others and no cassette player. Any sugestions?

Best investment I have for my cars. My C5 is up and down on these guys a lot and the best part is I can work on transmissions, driveshafts etc with nothing blocking. BUT, I am not buying the ad about effortlessly placing them on the holders. These things are freaking to heavy for me. Buddy did the roller mod at the bottom of the jacks and they are easy to roll around with no weight it works pretty good. These things are awesome. I saw them lifting a C5R at the track so.....

@@wootuser yes, they save time from positioning four jack stands but there is two bits of somewhat heavy lifting

How many miles you got on it now? Looking at a 2009 with 80k miles, this car is amazing I’m hoping to get it, any major maintenance? And also do you know if the soft closing trunk was optional? Any other cool hidden features?

@@noahh1997 I currently have 308,000 miles and it runs and looks as good as it did when I made this video. No major maintenance. I assume they all had soft closing trunk but I’ve read that many of them stop working after awhile. Mine still works. I’m not sure if I missed any features in the video as I haven’t watched it since I first posted it. Maybe I’ll watch it and see. 80k is brand new, good find.

@@waxlex6451 GS had a more performance tuned motor delivering more hp and torque than the ES until 2019 when the ES received the same motor and the GS was discontinued in America in 2020.

@@alfredlyon27 i got a 2008 GS350 a few months ago as my 2003 IS300 becomes small for me yet still runs great. The more i check on youtube about Gen3 GS, the more i like it - classy look, reliable engine, and smooth ride. Amazing your car still runs great on such a high milage, that inspires me to keep it for the long run. Also learn some features from your video... Cheers!

Of course they recommend 91 octane but it will run fine with 87. People say it reduces your mpg and hp though. I always use 91

Comparing this Lexus to any American car is only insulting to silly Americans who love their shite cars. A Lexus of this caliber is prime steak against a Fusion that can't be considered to be nothing more than a cheap hotdog with no bun, Lol.

I was comparing it to the fusion because of the age difference. The fusion was a brand new 2019 at the time and my Lexus was a 2008. I understand that initial quality was different but as far as technology leaps it wasn’t that far off. The fusion had many more safety features though.

Nice video straight to the point? Now I can hook up a line out converter to the factory radio and add Subwoofers/Amp in the trunk. How is the sound quality with Bluetooth vs CarPlay from the factory setup before adding the GROM VLine2? If you even remember, LOL. Thanks for the video, helped a TON. In the market to buying one of these cars.

This model year (2008) did not have Bluetooth for music, only for phone calls. The sound quality with the GROM is great.

Yes, all stock features still work. Even while using CarPlay the steering wheel buttons will skips songs and adjust volume.

I just purchased a used 2010 gs350, and what a nice driving, comfortable and good-looking car. Hard to believe it’s 14 years old. It’s loaded with features that aren’t standard in most new cars today. Great video and good luck with the car!

Too high. You can buy a really nice 4th gen for under $15k. That 2013-2017 GS350
