Wow, after years of the 5150 release and sammy still is able to sing dreams in the original key...... in my opinion the most hard song of sammy. Thats why he's the Goat of van halen....

Just like Sammy & his Wife, when I finally said I Do, at 36 years old, to my wonderful, handsome Husband, Marc Lefebvre, I knew he was the one right from the start. When you know, you know!! Been married to him for over 28 years now. ❤💋💘

Montrose, Sammy Hagar, just think Ronnie Montrose doesn't put it together maybe we wouldn't have a Montrose or Sammy Hagar! Does anyone think like that? This is amazing shit!!!

even though they were just joking-around when they did those harmonies, you can tell that they have spent a lot of time working on vocal harmonies

First two Montrose albums "Debut" and "Paper Money" are classics once Sammy left Ronnie Montrose carried on but it was never the same. Sammy went on to the super stardom though which is great for him Ronnie did ok for himself but nothing the band started out like.

That’s awesome, I mean I like some punk , but at the same time maybe it’s time for a bite of a break from it as well. All of it’s far left feminist bullshit runied the part . I mean what’s wrong with some T’NA running around in bikinis, Jean and leather skirts with some cold beers and some Bbq? I don’t really don’t wanna cry out bout that ? Rock’N Roll used be a lot of fun. ☝🏻So the moral lesson of the story is ? It can’t Rain all the time , “ Music that matters, With a side of pussy ,That Taste GGGGRRRATTTEEE”

Between 78-85. The most exciting front man on the planet. Fronting the most exciting band on the planet. Long live THE MIGHTY VAN HALEN.

Anybody who thinks this band was better with Sammy " THE HASBEEN" Hagar is out of their mind Like Joe Biden ! ... If you weren't listening to and watching Eddie " THE KING" Van Halen then they were watching and listening to David Lee " THE SOULMAN " Roth ...David was a great frontman and the guy had a great soulful voice ..! ...

Listen I love Roth, and his way was the best way even though he was tough to deal with but live he always seemed like he was at one of his favorite band shows and so singing like every other word more or less when he felt like it -like most fans.

Back in '74, I can't think of many who can play and solo as good as Eddie does here. He's only 20 too.

1975 at Uncle Larry's Kenner La. We called them "fun arcades" back in the day. They had a few guys that worked there had an elevated platform with a turntable and would play this album all the time. Great place to hangout play pool, foosball and smoke your Marlboros "Back in the Day".

Love trying to figure out why Ted made the changes in the structure of the songs lyrically and guitar arrang, for example , why he cut first dolo down to one pass so there were only two complpasses on the dolo, and why he changed the ""ive got no place to call my own " to " ive got no place to call my own".. such small subtle changes to the overall structure of the so g make it more polished and legitimately classic, Tedears were Gold, he just knew what the song needed to make it classic! That's why Ted Templeman is a A-class Ptoducer. Why he gets the Big bucks! Like Bob Rock production with the Metallica big bucks production Era.
