I started at the beginning of Sept by eating whole foods, not eating at night, not eating too many carbs, 2 weeks later started weight training. and nothing i have lost nothing at all, i lost 1 pound then i gained it all back. in one month i lost nothing it's so disappointing i want to give up. what am i doing wrong?
@lilPieceofHart4 күн бұрын
A couple things: It takes longer than one month to see significant changes. The mindset behind why you're making the changes and why you want to get healthier needs to be strengthened so you feel more at peace with the healthy changes you're making. The focus has to be more than just the scale. -Make sure you're measuring your progress in multiple ways. The scale is only one way to track your progress. If you're working out AND changing your food AND changing your eating windows AND more... it's hard to know what's working and what's not working. It might also be hard to stick to long term if it feels like too much of a change from your starting point.

Helloooooo. Just wanted to come back here and say THIS RECIPE CHANGED MY LIFE!! It's so simple and makes my chicken strips be just as good if not even better than the precooked ones from the store, but at a much cheaper price point. I get the big chicken breast pack (about 3lbs) and I split it in two freezer bags. One I prep immediately with the marinade and bake the next day, the other one to thaw and prep later in the week. My whole family adores it. THIS IS A KEEPER!! Thank you so much for sharing this! Its a must for my wraps and salad and I can't get tired of it. A must for my weightloss/health journey, such a yummy protein option. Thank you♥

Thank you so much for all your amazing content and your encouragement! Side note: is this crazy? When I have achieved my weight loss goals in the past.. I decided one of my favorite things to do at a 'skinny' weight was to eat! I would just think'oh, this one regular hamburger won't make a difference, or this big bowl of ice cream ' etc sooo!!! I know I need to also prepare for what my mindset needs to be once I get to my desired weight goal and or pant size!! What differences between weight loss mindset and maintenance mindset?
@lilPieceofHart5 күн бұрын
No foods are "good" or "bad". However if your habits and mindset dont change while you're losing weight and then you revert back to your "old" way of eating you will revert back to your original weight too. The mindset behind weight loss and maintenance are key. I would say the difference between weight loss mindset and maintenance mindset is you gain the knowledge and mindset shifts happen during weight loss that support your maintenance mindset. You learn along the journey and then maintenance is super easy. There is definite strategy involved. I teach this all in my online course and in my coaching. You can grab my course here: buy.stripe.com/eVag329lz4FbdNe8yj Or you can join my 1-1 or group mastermind for mindset and weight loss. You can email me here: [email protected]

I did the journaling for my goals and the reasons, benefits and methods to accomplish them. But it's like, now what? I have begun a weight loss journey which started August 1st and I have lost 12 lbs. I walk 1 hour a day and am eating about 1200 calories and making sure I am getting 120-140 grams of protein daily. I have never been a big water drinker, I fixed it but it sits beside me. 😢 I don't know how to make myself drink it. I may drink 20-40 ounces in a day and I know that's probably not enough. I'm 71 years old and I have always been that way. I am not sure what my mindset blocks are and am not sure how to figure out what they are. I enjoy your videos and appreciate your enthusiasm and great suggestions.

I know why i stopped losing and ultimately gained most of my weight back. I felt like it was taking over my life and I was afraid to commit more time. I was ten pounds from my goal weight but wanted to be lifting heavier and running longer, my perfectionism got in the way. And i was afraid of what o would do when i reached my goal. Now I've quit smoking and gained twenty pounds from that, and i also went on birth control. My body feels unresponsive and the time and work commitments feel so huge and scary that i keep putting it off. You've given me a lot to think about, so thank you!
@lilPieceofHart5 күн бұрын
I totally understand this. The fears of maintenance will hold us back and not allow us to comfortably stay at our lower weight. The mindset side of weight loss is so overlooked but it will be the make or break for our success. Trust that even in your situation now, you can reach yoru goal weight and maintain. Ive worked with lots of clients who were in similar situations and the mindset work is truly the only work. You would fit right in for 1-1 coaching or my group mastermind. The support and direction is unmatched! [email protected] to chat about it.

The problem is that, my limiting belief, is I tell myself all the time that the me, that was 32 pounds ago, would have loved to be my current weight....even though I am still 30 more pounds from goal!! So, now I am gaining, and losing the same 3 lbs for about 6 weeks now😕
