Hi, I've made a bunch of these as gifts! My favorite quick and easy pouch pattern. I'd like to use the pattern for a beginner sewing class at my local library. They have 6 sewing machines and there would be 6 students. Class is end of October. Would that be Ok? Thank you! Jaime

I tried sewing a cheaper vinyl recently and it wouldn't feed through either. Then, I stuck press n seal on it and it worked great😊 later I could just tear it away. I hope this helps. It might work for your material

I also wanted to say if you measure from point to where you would make your seam for boxing corners I learned from MSQC that if you measure in 3” or however many inches you like from that point using seam middle seam to keep it straight and straighten out and draw that line your bag bottom will be twice as wide as your measure of 3” box will make a 6” bottom flat for your bag. Gosh I hope that made since. So whatever you measure for your box corners the bottom of you bags will be twice that width so 3” box corner will create a 6” “ bottom for your bag. Lol that was hard to explain 😂😂😂😂

I make my foam as long or wide as the fabric when done sewing you can cut it down to 1/8 seam away from the seam it’s so much easier than making the foam 1/2 shorter than fabric I usually quilt also with the foam it looks so good when quilted lines on there So just cut foam same size as fabric and then ise about a 3/8-1/2 “ seam allowance. Please keep using foam it sees so easily and it really makes your bags stand up. I use the bosal foam it’s a bit thicker than what u used and the needle goes through like butter.
