Not happening. They were banned from running in the loop soon after it opened, due to concerns regarding fires due to its wooden construction. I'd love to see it too but the earliest we're ever getting is probably a grey ghost. If that. It's possible a Hitachi could run too, but like with the grey ghost, that would require Elecrail to get theirs operational.

@@Soccera0 Could run a VLine set with H-Cars, & they'd be earlier. lol. Since are converted & asbestos removed Harris/Blue carriages. There's 53* VLine carriages that are converted Harris cars. [*53 is what I've counted, on the list i've got of ones that were, for VLine. But it's a little vague as to exactly how many were (it could be 57). But there were also 6 cars of 2 three car sets converted to silvers, & 2 Harris M-Cars converted to maintenance, so to work out that 53 was by subtracting, from total number converted, not counting them up]

@@Soccera0 We basically have no more harris trains apart from the h type carriages that v/line used to run and the one being used at the newport railway musuem is static and wont ever function, the unrestored harris trains at newport worksshops are greaser cars which have no interior and are probably in bad shape, not sure if we can convert trailer cars into motor cars with vline sets

Why do you think that they tried a _Comeng?_

I think they are waiting to see passenger movements once the tunnel is fully operational. Moving it back to Domain Road has both pros and cons, so they don't want to make the decision right now. Rather, open the tunnel, and then observe how people are using it, together with the tram service, and then decide if it's worth it or if it's better to leave it as it us currently.

Yes, and the airport line when it opens. However it will create room for more trains on other lines. By taking Sunbury out of the Northern group (yellow line) city loop tunnel, there will be more space for Craigieburn and Upfield trains
