Only bad thing with dollar stores is not all stores have the same thing. I have seen lot of great items people have shown that was bought from the dollar store - only bad thing is stores here don’t have it. But I really don’t worry about stocking up cause I know Jesus will supply our NEEDS……Not “WANTs” NEEDS! We will do what we can and leave the rest to Jesus! If your not with may I suggest you worry more about that than stocking up with things that people will come and take.

I buy Bear Creek soup and other soups that have dehydrated meat and veggies and water is just needed. Same with mashed potatoes, the ones that only need water.

Such good ideas! We did in-fact forget some of these on our list, thanks for sharing. You should check out Ozio Medical- we just ordered their Basic Emergency Medical Kit for a great price, and it gives us some peace of mind in case we wouldn't have access to healthcare otherwise in an emergency situation or catastrophe!

The ramen noodles don't have to be heated. You can just pour water over them and let them sit for a while. They will absorb the water and soften up. No heat required.

Love your channel, such great advice here! People underestimate the power in preparedness. My husband and I have been working on our food storage pantry, as well as building our own 72-hour kit. You should check out Ozio Medical- we just bought their Basic Emergency Medical Kit to keep in ours. Gives us peace of mind in case we don't have access to healthcare otherwise!

Wisdom ager- if you hwisdom - have a small cut or puncher cut, squeeze cut and encourage bleeding to cleanse the cut from inside out. If red streak starts from wound, you are in trouble.

Umm you absolutely need an under quilt, any breeze at night without an under quilt will chill you to the bone, hammock straps also protect the tree. With an under quilt in the summer a light blanket on top will suffice. Hammock camping is so very superior to sleeping on the ground it’s absolutely ludicrous.

Great review and explanations. Some add-on thoughts here. The best first aid kits are those you build to address the setting. But many "store bought" types are very useful. The suggestion is to know the contents prior to the need for it. Maps are great and better yet is to know your area prior to an event. Many folks know their route from home/work/shopping/schools and that's it. And that is not a survivor's mindset. And if you use fire when needed, don't burn treated lumber, and don't use charcoal indoors.

FYI. Storing water in the 1 gallon plastic jugs is a problem. These plastic jugs "WILL" leak within a couple of years. Go with 5 gallon water bottles or other container rated for long term storage.

I am a certified pool operator, one thing most people don't know, is liquid bleach degrades, so you don't want to run to the $ store, buy bleach, and expect it to retain its potency, you should have it, but rotate it from storage - to use. Always have some on hand, if SHTF and everyone else is fighting over toilet paper, you should slip in and pick up some bleach!

I feel another key component to duct tape and plastic sheeting is to Protecting Against Airborne Particles: During events like volcanic eruptions, dust storms, or wildfire smoke, sealing openings with plastic sheeting and duct tape can help reduce the amount of harmful particles entering living spaces. Clearly, for HAZMAT spill with shelter in place, it is useful but I do use plastic sheeting and duct tape to control the amount of forest fire smoke that gets into my house (forest fires usually occur several states away but the air gets really saturated with smoke).

Why has Kahn not been arrested for Child abuse he is in a Christian Country and Muslims like Khan can move to Muslim Countries. White Indegenous British Christians rights are first. Africa pays reparations to British White People. How many Child Molesters has BBC employed and BBC covered it up for years. How much money did BBC receive Trafficking White British Christian Children.

The fuel in cheap lighters can evaporate over time. I wouldn't recommend buying them if you plan on storing them. Picking up a Bic or two is a far better option. Bic's are far more reliable, retain their fluid, are less likely to break/fall apart, shoot out large flames, and the flints last a whole lot longer. One Bic lighter can easily outlive three cheap lighters, and you can buy them at dollar stores at discounted prices. If you happen to see one on the ground, pick it up. If it has fluid, there's a good chance it still works. You can check the fluid levels on the darker colors by placing a powerful flashlight on the bottom.
