Почему всем так интересен этот вопрос? 😅 Проблема туалета давно решена для парапланеристов, мы используем хорошо известные в медицине методы для маленьких дел. Большой балласт рекомендуется сбрасывать перед или после полёта.

Excelent active piloting. Thanks for a great video. Is there some special advice or technique or anything what you can higher up and share with us, which we can use in these kind of conditions? For example, I think I'm using technique "breaking colaps by colaps". I realised you worked pretty a lot with a C-risers or so instead of breaks ? Does it work that well as breaks during active piloting in turbolent air?

Thanks for watching, but please don't learn paragliding from KZbin videos. If you have specific questions about piloting the wing, it's best to ask your instructor or an experienced pilot you know. You can also join my Telegram group if you wish, where pilots of different levels share their experience and ask questions.

@@dymanoid Heh, no worries, I was just asking. Nobody tells you the exact manual how to fly perfectly. When its happening up there, nobody's there, just you and situations you were watching or talking about before are just there and real and have to deal with it. So any good catch in the brain or subconscious before is helpfull.
@dymanoid
@dymanoid 21 күн бұрын
It's a good idea to do one or multiple SIV courses. Then you won't be surprised by the reactions of the wing because you have already actively practiced different situations and exactly know how your wing behaves, what you can do and how, and most importantly, what NOT to do ☺ Just watching others doing something or talking about it is simply not enough. In a stressful situation, we tend to forget about conscious things and instead act on instinct or trained behavior.

Hi, great video. I just got caught yesterday in a strong valley wind, to land I faced the wind and chose a big field without obstacles. I went first on full bar otherwise the wind was still pushing me backwards, then half bar as I got lower and 2-3 meters above ground I realised as the wind got weaker. Probably the nastiest flight I had yet but still one of the smoothest landings fortunately.

Thanks for watching! Yes, landing in strong wind can be challenging, because a small mistake can cause a lot of trouble. Glad you mastered your landing!

I love wings with short breaks. Wrap is dangerous and uncomfortable.
@dymanoid
@dymanoid 21 күн бұрын
I also prefer rather short brakes, but not when they are too short and too firm. I don't think the half-wrap technique is any dangerous. Whether it's comfortable or not depends on the personal preferences, I think. I'm totally comfy with that.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As I mentioned a couple of times in the video, other pilots might have different impressions from the wing. However, I agree with you that the Diva 2 seems to deliver better glide and speed compared to the Peak 6.

Nope, I haven't tried a Zeno 2. From many friends of mine that fly the Zeno 2 I have heard that it is a really challenging and not so comfortable wing. It's the best performing wing in the EN-D class for sure, but you have to be okay with its character and comfort level.

A great test, really very good. Two things that stand out to me. Firstly, if you hold both risers in one hand, many stretched glider tend to break out to the side. The remedy is left hand, left riser, right hand, right riser. This allows the cap to be accelerated or held slowly on one side. This helps enormously to get the glider right above the pilot. Second thing: landing in small areas. Use brake and accelerator to reduce the glide angle, works perfectly. I have been flying high performance for 33 years, currently E 3
@dymanoid
@dymanoid Ай бұрын
@@aircloud1 Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, as you mention, this wing requires some attention on inflation and on landing, so some special techniques like you described can also be classified as "increased attention" compared to other non-eventful wings.

Well, I've seen so many people landing there near the road not making it to Sevilla, so I prefer to pick a route with terrain features. But maybe I'm just spoiled by alpine flying - flatlands are black magic to me.

Hello, again, teacher! I've been applying your 'turn tight' technique with great success so far. Quite recently my results on the flatlands have improved as well. I've done my first 100k and have had the opportunity to share part of my flights with top notch pilots here in the southern cauldrons of Spain, seeing them do 300k+ (not myself 😅). I can certainly say they don't bank their wings that hard, and maybe that has to do a bit with the different type of thermals compared to those you usually find in the high mountains. I've been experimenting myself and it seems a flatter turn helps me sniff where the thermal is drifting or to scan a wider area of lift in my circle so I can incorporate the better spikes of lift in my next circle. I'm wondering what's the best strategy and would much appreciate your insights on this 🤓
@dymanoid
@dymanoid Ай бұрын
Hey! I'm glad you're progressing a lot, that's nice to hear. Don't call me teacher though 🤭 You have quite a specific question, don't you want to join my Telegram group and discuss there? It's not really convenient to do it here in the YT comments. But to shortly answer your question, I'd say 1) don't ask me anything about flatlands flying, I have no idea 😅 and 2) I believe, if the climb is 2+ m/s, turning tight has no disadvantages with modern wings. In weak stuff and when searching for better lift - sure, turning flat helps.

Thanks for watching! AFAIK there are no official takeoffs in Mölltal that you can reach by cable car in winter. So if you're OK with hike and fly through snow & ice, you can fly in winter indeed. Don't expect much XC though, it would probably just be short flights gliding down into the valley.
