I don’t hate em. I just think they’re a bit overhyped and overpriced. Still use them when I’m in a pinch but not in any professional settings. And I bought them because people praised them and I love pretty much every other DJI product that I own.

WOW! A REAL WORLD REVIEW! Thanks so much! You have convinced me to buy the MacBook Pro M4 instead of the M4 Mac Mini and the M4 MacBook Air when it comes out. I will be all in on the 16" MacBook Pro. My CFO (wife) will not be happy however. But we all have to sacrifice somewhere, right? Much luck with your channel! Hope it grows fast!

Good stuff sir, both cameras are beasts! I kinda found a budget work around. I got the fx30 as my main camera and then the ZVE1 to handle extreme low light or any 4k 120 I may need. I added a cage and fan to the zve1 which conservatively gives me 90% functionality of the fx3 while still saving 2k. I do miss shutter angle, 2 sd card slots and full size hdmi. My first choice would be the fx3 but almost 4k is a lot, my business partner got an fx3 and I was able to use it for a bit it’s definitely nice but like you said I don’t think it’s worth double of the fx30. Well again good stuff sir looking forward to seeing more of your content.

With all due respect, you might consider improving the sound quality of your videos if you want to be taken seriously as some audio critic.

I have FX3’s and a bunch of professional mics, yet I choose to record on an old 1080p webcam and an old blue yeti microphone for my KZbin videos… it’s all by design brotha haha👍 It’s the style
@livinginoklahomacityofficial2 күн бұрын
@tecctruth hey you do you. Interesting "style" choice for a tech channel - but I'm not knocking your choices of what you use. Point being, having a video with a low budget mic at roughly 60% of the industry standard volume (with no consistency on your volume dynamic through the video), is going to take away from your perceived credibility as an authority on audio quality to an audience... especially as you create a video dunking on a product's audio quality. Kinda makes you an easy target for criticism. I'm pretty versed in nutrition/fitness, but if I let myself gain 20 lbs as my "style" and walk into a gym criticizing people for what they're doing wrong, I would expect to get called out lol.
@tecctruthКүн бұрын
Thats exactly the point. Most tech channels film with EXTREMELY high quality, but Im purposely doing the exact opposite.. You have to stand out and be different in the world of content creation & this is one way.. seems to be working okay because out of all the KZbin channels I’ve grown and monetized this one seems to be moving towards the qualifications the fastest. I never claimed to be an audio expert though, and I don’t even feel like I necessarily dunked on it either.. Just giving my honest opinion and even went as far as bringing in a second person to get another opinion. I get what you’re saying though & I understand where you’re coming from 100% haha. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to comment!

@tecctruth not trying to be a jerk, I understand the game of content as well as anyone, as my businesses rely entirely on it. I don't think the DJI mics are the pinnacle of audio quality or anything lol, but I do think they sound pretty solid with some unique functionality (with dji products). So maybe my response was inspired by slightly disagreeing with your take, followed by switching to the next video and almost blowing my car speakers since your audio is so low by comparison 🤣🤣. So please don't mind me - but maybe consider this a request to at least normalize the volume level of your videos and leave the rest low fi? Lol. No hard feelings, I'm just a guy on the internet haha. Best of luck

All good! No worries at all haha. I actually really appreciate that criticism. I definitely don't want to be jump scaring people with my audio😂😂 Thank you so much and good luck with all of your businesses also!

Just switched from that generic spring action mic arm to a low profile mic arm from InnoGear for $25 USD on amazon and its perfect would love to see you review it. as a streamer and constantly moving my mic arm for hours those springs were my final straw since I bought the original one. No longer have that noise or any noise at that. One thing Fifine got right is the microphones though I have the A6V and its perfect for a USB mic, but just ordered the AM8 to pair with my GoXLR Mini via XLR cable and hoping its a step up in quality I prefer the top facing mic with the low profile mic arms although if I had any other style I would choose the K688 as its dynamic. Great video nice recording volume and overall chill guy. Will be subscribing and checking out your other videos, Cheers!

I was contemplating between the Magic Keyboard and the MX Keys Mini. I ended up going for the Magic Keyboard due to the fact that its got the fingerprint sensor (I hate typing my password lol). My only gripe with the Magic Keyboard is the fact that it doesn't have backlighting and the models available in South Africa at the time only come in lightning and not Type-C. Seems like those have not arrived yet.

I agree with the remote. My biggest gripe (I have a 77 C1 and 48 C2) is the tv will sometimes turn off by itself when I'm watching something. It can happen like after 2-3 hours. It might have to do with the AppleTV, as I didnt notice it when I use the Shield, but I turned off all power saving shutoff features on both but it happens randomly. Its not like the Apple TV turns off, its the TV. And normally when the TV doesnt detect input it switches to a screensaver and then turns off after like 10 mins, so this is almost like someone hit the power button, as I see the LG logo when it turns off. Its so annoying because I normally dont use the TV remote, just the streaming box remote to turn it on and off, so then I have to find it. Its enough of a hassle that I'm not sure I want another LG TV again, even though I have two (C1 and C2). Its a decent TV for image quality but its just annoying to live with day to day.

@@cryengine_x "terrible" yet didn't say details. I have 2 oleds, c9 and cx from years ago, no burn in. Kid plays games for hours daily on his and no burn in. I play games on mine too. How would new tv's be worse when they haven't been used long enough to get burn in. I guess you can abuse oleds, leave them on news all day so yes I do turn mine of now instead of leaving it on all day. I love the true blacks, I grew up with lcd tech and blooming and light bleed. most reasonable people rarely make "all" statements and leave some room to humble have some wiggle room. Rtings and many other independent sites have reviewed the heck out oled burn and it's rare. Love the infinite contrast, instant pixel response in games and movies.

Bar the remote, these are all things that would be similar problems with other brands and other panel types and can be solved by just not using the tv's onboard apps. Use an apple tv or console or Roku stick or something and you will be fine.

Preach bro... I want TV remotes to have buttons for immediate adjustment of "brightness", "contrast" and/or "gamma". The buttons must have the option to be disabled so that family men won't complain that their wife and kids will mess up the TV. (Or supply TVs with 2 remotes OR optional remotes: simple and expert.) I put brightness, contrast and gamma in quotes cause manufacturers unfortunately have the freedom to use these terms ANY WAY THEY WANT, so for many decades these controls differ and and change between brands and iterations of TVs. We get abominations like "contrast button adjusts brightness and brightness button adjusts contrast". Don't get me started on buttons labeled "Picture". I WANT BUTTONS for brightness presets AND granular adjustment ON THE REMOTE. -GIMME. --- SAID ANOTHER WAY: I adjust the overall brightness of my TV several times a day. Many do the same. Please Reduce the number of button presses needed for this. THE GOAL is for the viewer to get the desired luminance WITH ONE BUTTON PUSH. Give a rocker labeled "Brightness, Luminance, or Picture" so the viewer HAS A CHANCE to get his new desired luminance WITH ONE BUTTON PUSH. This rocker should adjust brightness, contrast and gamma using defined curves. User should be able to pre-select from a variety of curves. User should be able to preset the number of rocker increments from say 5 to 20 or 30. User should be able to preset the speed of the rocker's adjustments. DELUXE VERSION: Also give 2 or 3 additional rockers for fine adjustment of Brightness, Contrast and/or Gamma after using the preset rocker to get close. Please TV makers, give us this either on the main remote or an optional expert remote.
