Action 4 is one of my favorite cams. I’ve been choosing it for vlogs over my Pocket 3 most of the time lately. Long battery life and quick battery changes.

Interesting, I owned the Action 4 before and bought Pocket 3 later. I regret not instantly buying the Pocket 3 and skipping the Action 4. I got no usecase where the Action 4 would be better for me than the Pocket 3. But I think it depends on the usecase

@@telosnox777 If I had to only pick one I'd probably stick with Pocket 3, but the Action 4 as a tool is a perfect compliment to the Pocket 3 imo, and will outlast it in battery life (which is the Pocket 3's biggest flaw in my workflow)

@@HeartbeatMediaYT Right, it depends on the usecase. I own the adventure combo. But did not change the battery once on my last vacation... just used my powerbank in the middle of the day. So I could have done the same with the Pocket 3. But: My low light videos (and I got a lot of em) are really bad... I was walking most time, so the shake makes everything really blurry. I think if you don't need to take many single clips with 1h+ in a short time, a good powerbank will easily solve the fixed battery "problem" of the Pocket 3. And the big sensor helps a lot with low light. Both cameras are great. If there is no rough situation, I think the Pocket 3 is a better choice. But if it get's "risky" for the camera, I would always prefer the Action 4

@@telosnox777 Very true, an action cam is not the right tool for the job when it comes to low light. The Pocket 3 would be a better tool for that. I have not tried the Pocket 3 to Power Bank setup. I have shot towards dark with both Pocket 3 and Action 4 and the Pocket 3 was a bit better but neither are anywhere near my full frame body for low light.
