They’re $66,000 here in the US. That’s way too much for a Hyundai, even a hot rod such as this.

Very posh review for a Hyundai. The swivel seats sounds like a great idea. Hyundai quality, however, makes me wonder if this will last.

Looks made for The US, a big !! Coloured brick on wheels, whatever is going on with the wheel arches, you could be 4ft 8” but if not, why is so big ?? Inside looks good, years ago a Ford Galaxy did everything well regarding carrying many people, and a third smaller, this will fun, not, tying to park in the EU.

This isn't a car that I would ever buy but if I was in the market for this type of vehicle I think I would go for the EV9. Seems a more "honest" design -- shouting that it is large and boxy rather than trying to hide it. The interesting point about this car for me is that it questions where the future lies for the so-called premium manufacturers like Mercedes, BMW etc. I don't see how they are are going to justify their position when you see the inside of a Hyundai? In a matter of months, Hyundai have topped and tailed their EV range. In chess terms first the pawn -- the Inster-- and now the King. The Hyundai/Kia group is on a roll!

Here in Australia Electricity prices are so high that people can barely afford to power their homes.3 phase power costs more again, great for those few who can afford to even run big home air conditioners. Car fast charging points are ridiculously expensive making ICE cars more affordable. And.. there are nowhere near enough chargers,it gets even worse once out of metropolitan areas.Until this changes and electricity becomes cheaper, EVs’ will just be minor role players over here,and the way our Labor Government is putting all its efforts into wind and Solar ,our prices will continue to keep rising.

It seems like a solution looking for a problem. If it were a regular ICE vehicle almost nobody would buy it. It has about as much appeal as a Fiat Cinquecento (remember those). This car is literally the same price as a 23 plate Mazda CX30 EV, a far superior car with the same range. There are loads on AutoTrader, with less than 5k miles on the clock. This is not the solution to affordable EV's.

Not all usb are the same standard just because they have the same ends, that's not how usb works. There are newer ends on older formats and vice versa. Don't just buy cheap, buy the one you need and do your research.

@@Stimm002 I was using a high quality RODE genuine cable. Which is why I was disappointed.
@Stimm002
@Stimm002 2 күн бұрын
@AutoSocialUK the brand or cost doesn't really matter. Look into usb connectors and cable specs. The whole thing is a massive mess. This means that if you want a cable for a specific purpose, you really do have to do your research. For example, the RODE is a great cable for ots purpose, but it's not a synchronous 2 way cable which you need for android auto. It's stupid how bad the usb implementers Forum have run and organised the standard. So in short it's not an issue with the car, it's an issue with usb standards, other than the car not being wireless I suppose but then it's a budget oriented car. To be clear, my comment wasn't a dig at you or your video. It was just for people information as most outside the tech industry don't know how usb works. They just think usb a or usb c ect. But really, the type of connection tells you nothing about what it's capable of.
