Warmup 15 to 20 minutes Running. Do not jump before stretch. Jump after stretch. Your body should be strong enough for Stretching and flexibility. Experiment on your Diet and see results. Reduce time seated

All good stuff… however don’t you think you’re skipping the most important conversation about shenfa and kinetic linking? I find outside of china this is the most missing aspect. People often are good at making breath noises and focusing their eyes into short bursts with contrast. However most People short cut their shenfa thinking it will be faster… while pro Chinese athletes commit further into torso rotations and have a better coordinated explosive power from the foot on the floor to the hands/weapon. After all the classic term is 眼手身法步meaning hands and eyes coordinate and there is a relationship … while the torso and the stance coordinate and these have a strong relationship. I think the place to start in terms of power would be a discussion about how the power needs to come from the stance and torso method and not shortened… this is 70% of your power and balance

It depends on your body type for many the 1 leg take off is the only way they will get past 360 degrees. For others with good hope you can get to 900 with 2 leg takeoff.

Pause in 4:26, you are bended forward, your bottom into the other direction, somehow like a duck, that is not correct. Your back should be straight. Check out David Bao explaining that stance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWSQdaWoqtWZrtE

@@mywushuclass579 I start to listen my body, in the minthime, so I am breathing spontanios. Also, I am practicing to stand in position for a wile and breathe diafragmatic. All in all, when I do Qigong, I'm sure that I should inhale energy we bring to the body... etc. 😊

Most westerners struggle with stances because they think it takes strength to sit in a low Pu Bu or Xie Bu. It doesn’t really. It’s ankle flexibility. Chinese can naturally squat like that because they don’t use toilets (Wudang secret). They never lose their ankle flexibility from their youth. Westerners lose it as toddlers. They must re-learn to Kimchi Squat. Ankle flexibility makes wushu 100X easier. Pro tip-and one almost never explained to them. It is tough to hold a Pu Bu halfway up. That’s why the Chinese don’t do it. Lol.

玄门拳法 BLACK GATE BOXING (Xuán Mén Quán Fǎ) thank you for your comment. That is indeed a very good point. Pubu and Xubu are great examples of stances that require that ankle mobility and in China we do see a lot of people kimchi squatting. Thank you. Cheers

Hi Elio! Thank you for the question. I don't have a specific protocol, but when i do this type of training I usually go for 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps. I try to pace myself so that i can perform all the exercises with quality, so i don't try to go all out on one set or one particular exercise. Hope it helps. Cheers

Hi! Thank you for your comment. I understand how you feel. Are you comfortable doing the simpler forms of those jumps, like 360 and 540? If no, then practice those until you're already very comfortable. If yes, then practice your spin in the air, look for signs that you're not maximizing your rotation. Hope it helps, that is a very complex movement indeed. Cheers
