Aww, I love that, "These are some of the best days." What a wonderful way to phrase it and keep in mind through the nitty gritty. Thank you for saying that. I needed that perspective.

Awww didn’t know you were that close in the Hurricane! So glad you are ok and not too much damage. Congratulations on winning the part in the play. And a marriage in the family soon! Saw the video of your explanation of husband’s diagnosis. I had a in the 5th grade student with Aushbergers. It was not an easy time with him. But parents were very supportive and to this day he’s functions well. Even married and has a baby. I’ve heard from him a time or two. My heart feels for you. You must have endured more than most women. If not for the Lord! Huh! What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger and we become like refined gold in tribulation with the Lord helping us! Love to all of you!

Thanks for your sympathies. Yes, I maybe endured more than most women, but besides my husband, my life was perfect: loved my house, yard, neighbors, homeschooling, my children, and everything else. So I didn't feel I had a right to complain. You're so right, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger! And we become refined gold going through our trials. Good point for me to remember. Thank you.

Thanks! We lived in Eastern NC for 9 years so we wanted to come back, but not so flat or humid. I love the mountains and fresh mountain air. My video "My Story" tells more about it if you're interested. I found the perfect place and we love it.

Congratulation all those good things in your life gaining a new daughter losing the son unfortunately haha. On getting that part in the play I was always too shy to do that kind of stuff hope it goes really well for you very proud of how you handle your children and the way they behave and helping other people it shows that you have good strong Christian morals and you're raising healthy strong Christian children God bless you

Congratulations on Spencer with his engagement and you for the play! That was very kind of you to try and help clean up. What kind of dog was that and what was its name?

I'm not good with dog breeds, but maybe a Maltese? A little white dog and her name is MimiMia. I walk her for an older lady who has knee problems.

No body should love a hurricane. Milton was devastating to millions of people , towns and cost lives. Please reconsider that statement . I'm sure you didn't think before making a statement such as that.

I took it as if he loves the weather science of it.

Yes, Spencer has always loved weather, wanted to be a storm chaser, etc. He probably won't go into that field now, but he still enjoys learning about it. No, we would never wish any storms or natural disasters on anybody. For generations we've had family living in Florida and they've always made the best of a bad situation by having "hurricane parties" and trying to enjoy them. Not to celebrate-- of course not--but to turn what could be a bad memory into a good one. They make snacks, do puzzles together, watch the news if the power is on. They go out and help replace lost shingles and fix broken fences on each other's houses, etc. All of Spencer's life he's heard their stories and seen their pictures. Starting when he was 14 when a hurricane comes to Florida he spends his own money to fly there and stay with grandparents or aunts/uncles to join their hurricane party, help take care of great-grandma, help with cleanup, etc. He has made great memories and come to love those times. That's what I meant. So no, I didn't think when I said that. Just that he was happy to be living in Florida this semester and get to experience it with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. And Madalyn just happened to be there these 2 weeks and got to join too so they were both happy about that.
