Why would you say Texas Mike “wisely folds his top pair.” First off, he folded the best hand, nothing wise about that. But even being non results oriented, if you call with such a trash hand you really shouldn’t be folding when you flop that strongly. He has to know Steve is going to c bet a large percentage of the time. If you are only going to continue with a flopped two pair or trips then playing Q8 is an even more horrible play than it normally would be.
