Darn, I was guessing back-up alarm or reverse lights. Good diagnosis. I haven't seen too many solenoids shorting like that.

Im having an issue with the alternator not charging on a toyota 8fgu25. I changed the alternator and the new one output even less. When u raise rpm voltage also goes up but at idle stays at 12.68. My s wire had 0 volts. I checked power at fuse fuse was blown. Changed fuse and it was only showing 12.6 on one side and 6.3 on the other then it blew again. Im stumped on it rn.

I got a qs tho, i got a Komatsu Fg25t-16 that has no crank when through all the troubleshooting starter is good, key switch is good but when i found the start relay by the step i found that i am getting 12v from battery and when i do key switch i get 12v as well but don’t have a ground on the other wire to close the circuit for the 12v to go to the starter wire, do you know what that small wire will be getting it’s ground? Plz help

If it is a k21 with a hitachi controller the ground for the coil of the relay is straight to the frame. The positive is from the neutral switch.

Hi there ive got a 1996 yale glp25tf its got very good rear drive but front drive is so week it moves about an inch on fuul throttle ive checked the solinoids and both are ok. Done oil and filter for box with no improvement. Any help or ideas would be great. Andy
