I remember a magazine talking about this before it was released. A new Shelby monster... but the side pipes were showing and it looked like a beast. Wish they left them uncovered. Always looks like a pretty girl that's covering her charms...

I wonder if the 10 speed auto had to downshift a gear or two for the 15 mph hit?

One constructive criticism. You raced a few other mustangs, and I lost track of which was you and which was the competitor. If you could float some text with which car was in frame ...

The 3v is trash. You can beat a stock coyote? lol. If you put 5k into a coyote it’ll easily run 10s. And I know for a fact you put more than that into it.

Why in the world not just build the bottom end while you have torn down this far! Your gonna add more power eventually so build it now and be done with it. People sure love doing things the hard wat😂

I bought a 99 off the showroom floor and had a full exhaust and went with 373 gears then a vortech supercharger and I put a smaller pulley on it with 42lbs injectors with a center force dual friction clutch with an aftermarket shifter and nitto drag radials with all the suspension parts they made at the time

I couldn't stand these cars when they came out, but they have grown on me quite a bit in the last few years, not really a ford guy either, but if I was buying a mustang it would probably be this style, or the terminator.

Amazing, amazing, amazing video. Can't say it enough. This helped me tackle my cam install. I took my time, did my research and, mainly because of this video, was able to install them. I had some hiccups, but nothing that wasn't my own clumsiness' doing. Thank you Four Eyes for making my first dose of engine work an awesome learning experience!

Can you tell me where you connect the open cables on the wiring harness? Did you used the 2 purple ones?

I didn't wire up the lockout solenoid, so I'm not sure.

@@Four_Eyes so You just used your normal car wiring harness for the rest? You not had an adapter for some sensor ? Man this is confusing .. fcking sensors What did you do to get your speedometer work? Give me part numbers if possible pls
@Four_EyesКүн бұрын
Speedo and reverse sensor connections didn't require adapters, everything worked out of the box. The major hiccup I had is that the PCM thought 1st gear was reverse and would torque-limit the engine to like 114 lb-ft which would cause me to bogdown when taking off from a stop.
@nfsking4826Күн бұрын
@@Four_Eyes how did you solved that?

Change max torque allowed per gear in tune via HPTuners.

Why are you use All-seassons Tires on an super sport Car? To get an shorter Brakedistance, use Sommer or Winter Tires. Pirreli PZERO ar gread for my experions. The Brake ar only so good as the Tire is. Please try it again with Summer-tires an you win i say 15% less Brakeway. Sorry for my not perfect english ;) Friendli Regards from Switzerland

Cool car, of course, but this is why I love turbo cars. A 2.0 TFSI Audi/VW will gain 50bhp with no hardware and just a stage 1 tune in the UK. An 8 litre engine gaining what it did with these mods seems underwhelming in my opinion. But I reiterate, this is a cool car.
