I got shipped off to my Uncle Wayne’s every summer. He also got us up at the butt crack of dawn but it was just to slop the hogs.

You on one foot using the foot with no leverage to move someones anchor leg. Then youre literally hopping to rotate? Dumb. Watch anyone do this and the other person can easily NOT move or slip their leg out. This is one of those fighting fallacies were having a partner who knows the move, who is suppose to go with it, loses what happens in real life
@DeuceDropper9274 күн бұрын
Dumb comment p.s. the leg that's being attacked is not the anchor leg, Jflo is using his "leverage" with his left underhook and body positioning to force the weight onto the left leg, leaving the right leg as light as a feather to be scooped up. A** takedown.

have you ever watched the UFC or MMA in general? This is one of tne of the most common trips off of the fence and Khabib used it ALL THE TIME.

You are so vulnerable, this seems like a bad idea. When you are on 1 foot a breeze would blow you over

Ideally, it wouldn't take that long in a fight. I'm pretty sure he slowed it down to allow him to learn the takedown better.
@GhibliOmatiC4 күн бұрын
@@john236613 Yea the speed at which he is executing the throw looks deliberately slowed down. He also steps inside from a wider more stable stance before trying to throw - normally that shift in foot placement would take place in a fraction of a second. But even then that is a risk, because if blue shirt picks up on it fast enough, he can respond to black shirt with his own kosoto gake - or if blue shirt frees his right leg, he can blast black shirt on the ground with a osoto gari. I love videos like this, most people don't realize how much judo is in MMA. edit: A fantastic tutorial demonstrating Kosoto gake and how to prevent from getting countered easily. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGHIfKWJZ7iEbqs
@DeuceDropper9274 күн бұрын
The step should take about as long as it takes to step over a cardboard box. Jflo (black shirt) has a bodylock pinning himself to his opponent and pinning his opponent to the fence, this pressure into the opponent along with the bodylock keeps him from blowing over. If the opponent tries to push back against Jflo he's able to use that push to redirect the opponent down to the side getting the takedown using the exact mechanisms shown in the video. Happy training.
@quentinkostick77523 күн бұрын
He was an under hook on the right side, you push their elbow/bicep up and it forces their weight onto the leg you’re pulling out, weight distribution is crazy once you start learning the nuances
