El 6.0 power stroke es uno de los mejores motores.el único problema que se tiene con este motor es que cuando le cambian el aceite deján las venas de lubricación sin el vital líquido un amigo tiene uno desde el 2003 y nunca a tenido problemas

Ugh... on my 2016, the back seat and rear floor kept getting wet, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Never thought to look in the spare tire well - sure enough, it was filled with water, and when it sloshes around, it'd come out through the back seat and into the rear floor. I should've looked this up much sooner.

i’m running obd2a ecu with an adapter harness to obd2b car do i do the bypass on both the car side obd2b harness and then again on the obd2a adapter side to the ecu?

This week my 2010 Prius 2 failed. It has 130,000 miles on it. As I was pulling up to my house, after driving about 10 miles, suddenly I got 5 dashboard warning lights. I was shocked to see them all at one time. Car was driving fine and no strange noises were heard. I drove my car into my garage since I didn't know what I'd need to do next. I took my phone out and took pictures of all the dashboard warning lights that came on because I knew when I talked to my mechanic, I'd forget what I saw. The lights were: 'CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM", yellow triangle with exclamation mark inside it, ABS traction light, check engine light, brake warning light. I called my mechanic (garage owner) and he said to have it towed to his shop. I have used this garage and the owner for 17 years and he does great work and is totally honest. Yesterday I got the call that it was the hybrid battery that needed replacing - and he could order it and have it in a couple days. The cost will be $4000. So next week (this is the weekend) I'll be picking up my Prius - which, by the way, I absolutely love. You know - perhaps I had a warning about 3 weeks before failure - that was while I was driving suddenly my horn came on and stayed on for about a mile while I was driving. Then it went off and didn't do that again. Was this a warning that the battery was going to fail? I had no other symptoms until the 5 dashboard lights came on.

Haven't checked continuity yet, but I bought an o2 sensor at autozone for around 80. Looks oem, but p1157 remains so I wonder if even that wasn't a good enough brand to use

The problem is not the brand of sensor... it's the location. You purchased an Oxygen sensor... which is the second sensor in the exhaust. The trouble code of p1157 is for an Air Fuel Ratio sensor... and it's about twice the price of an oxygen sensor! Check the wiring first and the fuse for the LAF on the passenger side interior fuse box. If that is blown or a wiring chewed by rats... it will throw that code as well.. even if you buy a new OEM sensor... so check that first before buying a new sensor.

My issue when trying to drill the hole is that it gets hot and refused to go any further. My drill bits are dull from trying to get through. Everyone else seems to have an easy time drilling through but mine wont budge.

Wormclamps are actually inferior to the weird toyota clamps. The factory clamps are designed to stretch, which happens to the hose/housing due to the heat. The wormclamps doesn't stretch which can cause cracking to housing.

Hey i think it works for me as it was described only it did not work first time with one resistor (add a second resistor in parallel and use as one )i did that i checked the data reader and the numbers have completely changed on the ob2b1 which is my air fuel sensor1# numbers are steady positive now 2.07-3.00 if im correct and no check engine yet i drove the car definitely felt better driving too so hopefully this helps thanks for this video it helped so much i had been struggling 🙏

If the point is to drop the voltage going to the ECU then adding a resistor in series shold work as its going to drop the voltage going to the ECU.

Hi, I am using the OBD II interface with Torque Pro app, followed your instruction and add all the HV battery voltage’s block 1-14 to the screen but couldn’t get them to read the data, all of them are not highlighted in green like your, they all stated “no data received”. The scanner seems to connected to the tablet and all the light are blinking, it scanned engine code. Please help, thank you.

Bought a 2012 model ps3 used but in excellent working order. Controller was fine and charged no problem at all. I got the bright idea of updating the firmware (for what idk as there's no longer any online functionality). After that, any time I hit the ps button to show the battery level all it does is show a 1 meaning that it's connected to slot 1 I suppose. It's supposed to show the battery icon filling up over and over. Anyone have this issue and possibly a fix? I don't want to waste money on another controller if that's not the issue. Thank you in advance.

For clarification: the 12VDC battery is charged by the 200+VDC Hybrid Battery via a DC-DC Converter; there is no alternator. The instant the Power button is pushed to start the car/motor, the Hybrid Battery is charging the 12VDC battery, with or without the engine running.

Another fun fact: these trucks came sort of prepared for adding a PTO. As such, Ford provided a wire under the dash that is not connected to anything that will supply switched power to the PTO engage switch that you add when installing a PTO. I can't remember what color it is but I found it after doing a Google search. I think I have already used mine for several things, so knowing about using the wiper circuit is a good tip.

Fun fact: take a closer look at the shot where the screwdriver through the grommet in the firewall appears. Above the screwdriver and closer to the camera is a wire loom. You will notice some wires taped to the loom. Looking closer, you can easily see one of them is not attached to anything. If you look under the dash, you will find the other end of that wire. It also is not connected to anything. In fact, there are two or three wires there like that (I can't remember the exact number). Ford calls these wires "customer access wiring". They put them there because they don't want customers poking holes through the grommet and possibly allowing carbon monoxide into the cab from the engine bay. I have used up all of mine, so now I have to poke holes.
