but father fish, you don't grow any challenging plants. You only grow plants that require minimum light and nutrients.

HELP, FATHER FISH! In my beautiful community tank, a 20 long, my lovely female beta who greeted me every morning, passed away from ick. I don't see signs of ick on the other fish, corydoras (6) and x-ray tetras (5). All my plants are thriving live plants so I know my options may be limited because of the live plants. Temp is maintained at 80 degrees. I am confused as to how to protect my fish. Could you advise me asap, please I love my fish.

Ok i saw some of the videos but i do have a question: I have African Cichlids. Substrate current is the "classic", alcalline sand and Rocks with places to hide. How would i apply your method to this kind of fauna? They dig the substrate, so the sand layer on top of the soil would be gone in a week. They destroy every plant and would devour any micro fauna. How would that work?
@FatherFish11 сағат бұрын
There are several considerations: you can place flat rocks on the top of th sand and pants many plants all around and some hearty ones along the back wall of your aquarium. Secondly, it may be that since these fish have never had plants, they will continue to tear up plants. Thirdly, you may find after planting plants that the fish has one plant they like to tear up, so you just keep replacing that plant.
