Turkeys are birds, birds are dinosaurs, dinosaurs are dragons! OF COURSE! IT ALL MAKES SENSE!!! May your turkey day be as brilliant as that bit!

How in the fuck is that storyline based on the spell? What?
@TopTierKnees2 сағат бұрын
The spell consumes an expensive bejeweled bowl in its casting. The dragon, disguised as the vizier, has concocted a plan to eliminate the bowls from the kingdom so she can take it over without anyone able to use magic to counter her talents

I have a question for you. So I'm into RPGs and really want to run one, but I'm pretty sure my peers wouldn't want to play any "nerd games", how would you recommend I approach asking them? I'm thinking of doing a Christmas themed one-shot with the Tunnel Goons system, but I'm not sure how to ask, and I'd probably feel weird saying it's fun being as I'm trying to run it, so of course i would say that. I hope that was understandable. As always, I loved this vid and it was great inspiration, thank you.

Howyobeagreat GM put out a great video about a year ago on running a one shot for newbies art a holiday celebration. The short version is go systemless. Have them pick +1/+0/-1 for body/mind/spirit and roll 2d6 for checks. 6 or less fails, 7-9 mixed success, 10+ full success. Pick your setting and story to appeal to the players. Over they get the hook and ask for more, then you can look at introducing a system.

I've never thought of it that way. This is super intriguing to me. Thank you for this!

If you don't have lots of dices, you can do it as passes, like - 1. Cities - 2. Water - 3. Forests - 4. Special Points of interest Though you would've a small landmass. Another idea is to use coins as well!

Dire den made a video similar to this. Everything is a dungeon! Just on different scales

the dungeon style is what I use for the wildernis travels since discovering it in the third party setting of planegea. love it!! I needed to give my players a bit more info on what can be gained at each choice or location to give them a bit more to go on.

Dont forget that travel can also count as downtime(foraging between random encounters, scribing a spell, let the warlock take a nap in the cart, a short rest us only an hour of light activity)

My friend from Ohio visited me in Minnesota this past September and we went to the Renaissance Festival for the first time! I wanted to go since I was a little kid but never have. They had a soap shop there called Opinicus Soaps. I bought two vials of their beard oil, but even though I don’t have a beard it’s great for scalp-hair too and the scents are great and seem to last a while. I also got a glass bookmark from the bookstore and a flexible little dragon

Diversity is not inherently good or bad. And it can be either. Too little diversity and the entity becomes too rigid and easily shattered! Too much diversity and the entity becomes limp and unable to function. It goes for every aspect of existence. Imagine an island of 100 people and it’s election time. In one extreme the entire island is of the exact same one track mind and the same leader is voted in over and over again. Nothing new is ever created. There is stability but if anything dynamic happens there will be few ideas and options to try out when overcoming the dynamics! Value rigidity. Easily shattered! This is bad! In the other extreme the island has 100 differing opinions spoken in 100 different languages and come vote times it’s a 100 way tie for who should lead the island. Nothing gets done. There is no stability. And when the dynamic cow pat hits the fan there will be 100 different ways to deal with it but nobody will agree on any. The reaction to the dynamics will be impotent! Limp! This is bad! There needs to be a balance. An entity needs to be both rigid and strong, yet be flexible and bend in the wind! Pirsig. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Lila Keep it real folks! Don’t put Diversity on an altar to be worshiped. Don’t throw diversity under the bus!
