My original ending with no replays or look ups was Kara: Got Luther killed b/c I chose to protect Alice after playing dead escaping Jericho. Then sacrificed herself to boat Alice to Canada (was too much of a Good Samaritan and returned the tickets) Markus: Peaceful all the way and lit himself on fire at the end of the big march Connor: Deviant, friends with Hank but couldn’t escape the shutdown so led the army of prototypes I was in awe how you could chose all the right/moral options and still end up with a “bad” ending. Devs really thought of everything, but also goes to show that sticking to something one too many times can be your demise

How on earth did you manage to make Conner a deviant while also having Hank hate you enough that he kills himself? That’s quite impressive

32:12 i wonder if I'm the only one that only gets mad at what Atreus is in this part of the story once he says the line about "little peoples little problems". up until that point, it just seems like someone snapping at someone for their whining (still not cool, but more understandable) but once he says that last sentence, it becomes abundantly clear what's actually making him say that. also, Sindri doesn't know about the whole "i am a god" thing, so it must've sounded like this nice, sweet kid just insulted him about him being a dwarf out of NOWHERE and for NO reason.

MK X and 11 are still my all time favs. MK 1 is okay but didn't grab me like X and 11 did and, I know saying this out loud (or typing it) is inviting criticism) but I don't think MK 1 looks as good or has as solid gameplay. I know why NR added the jump in system, they needed something new and it's hard to come up with new ideas after a while. It just didn't resonate with me, although I still give credit on the attempt. It's better to attempt something than get dull. In the end, I am trying to say that MK 1 is a fine game, just not one of my fav games.

Honestly, Treyarch deserves a lot less flak. Out of the six Black Ops titles, only 3 and 4 were on the weaker side. And the fourth was basically just a test run for Warzone.

I can’t lie, hearing that they’re all monsters and it’s easier to impose that they’re all just monsters, is something that reigns true in other medias as well. An example is Shiki, quite possibly one of the best horror anime out there along side the likes of DevilMan, and Higurashi when they cry. It’s easier to view something we can understand as evil, just because it helps humans survive longer.

The best thing about FW is the game itself That game is probably one of the most underrated game I’ve ever come across I know it’s become somewhat redondant to claim that this game, or that game, is underrated, and I also know the game still sold fairly well and received fairly good reviews, but STILL, I still think the game doesn’t receive half as much praise as it should I think it’s a true masterpiece, with very few flaws, if at all, and a tremendous improvement on the first game, that was already great Guerilla are real masters at what they do, and the Horizon franchise is one of the best thing that happened to video games this past few years

All the zombies in the emergence mission will flash back and forth between being Pantheon members and being zombies. To me, this implies that many of the Pantheon members were infected and abandoned when they visited the facility in the recent past to steal the canister of the Cradle. Case is fighting infected Pantheon members basically, that's how I saw it at least.

I was expecting more Gulf War stuff, maybe a little Black Hawk Down or a Tears of the Sun type mission too. The spy stuff fits the bill what with it being "black ops" and all, but I felt like it was lacking a little on the 90's warzones, those couple extra missions here and there with Case, Marshall and Harrow would've given us the emotional connection to the final act the game definitely needed because I wasn't gripped by it at all

Might be a hot take, but I HATE hearing "We didn't do X because it was expected." Don't get me wrong, just because something is expected, doesn't mean it should be done, but refusing to do something _just_ because it is expected is terrible storytelling imo. In God of War's case, I think it was the right call, but that doesn't make me agree with the fact that the apparent primary reason is because it was "expected".

One of the great standouts this game has is how it makes you feel how the world is leaving you behind, time is moving and you cant stop it. Edward was one of the greatests pirates in the final years of piracy, Nassau as a confederation failed spectaculary, blackbeard is dead and all the other either forsaken him or die separatedly, hundreds of pirates are joining the british navy, etc. AC3 Also fulfilled this with Connor essencially failing in his mission of protecting his people. But AC4 hits even harder on that, even Ade who stood along side you through most of the game leaves you behind.

Listen, I'm not a tankie, but let's not propagate misinformation. The story that the soviets sent soldiers into battle with no weapon and expected them to pick up the gun of the guy in front of them is almost entirely a myth. I say almost because there is the barest kernel of truth to it during the initial nazi invasion in 1941. There were some cases where red army units got encircled by the wehrmacht and had to rely on that kind of desperate tactic. But this was never once an intentional plan by commanders. On the contrary, the soviet's ability to produce arms and ammunition was staggering. So much so that the germans actually started issuing captured soviet small arms to their own soldiers and giving them official designations. Hell, the entire Finnish military strategy for years was to utilize captured soviet arms, ammo and equipment and force pyrrhic victories that the soviets just couldn't sustain (and it worked decently well during the winter war and the continuation war). There were factories in cities under siege, like at stalingrad where they kept making guns even while the very city was being pounded into rubble by artillery fire and the luftwaffe. And yeah, some 27 million soviets died, a disproportiate number of them civilians. But lets keep things factual, shall we?
