People in power do tend to exploit others and their insecurities. Makes me grateful that my mother taught me better than to stoop to that level. Also, these doctors also condescend on their patients to stay out of the law’s surveillance.

The surgeon has a huge responsibility in this case, but I am curious about the anesthesiologist? I assume that even plastic surgeons have an anesthesiologist on staff that does the anesthesia while the sugeon does the cutting?

Not necessarily, a lot of "cosmetic" surgery are low-key procedures that dont need havy narkotics and therfore anesthesiologist

I was wondering the same thing-the patient mentioned having worries about going under anesthesia so there must have been an anesthesiologist on staff who was responsible for ensuring the safety of the equipment

@@TheCaptainJade Basically because “cosmetic” , far fewer rules, regulations, or oversight apply. They are just restricted on what and how they administer anesthesia, along with the limited time constraints on the surgery Hell depending on location there may be little or no requirement that the “surgeon” who you spoke with will actually be the one who is doing all the work

Whenever I see someone with heavy plastic surgery that's reached the point where they look deformed I always think how unethical those doctors must be. They don't care about their patient's mental health and wellbeing, they're just happy taking advantage of their insecurities and getting as much money out of them as possible.

lol your not asking the right question, do you want doctors to be sued for turning away people, if every doctor was as you said then people would be suing doctors left and right for refusing to treat them. your also dismissing any accountability from the actual adults, if someone wants plastic surgery that is their choice not yours nor a doctor, as long as they are healthy and are told the consequences if they still choose to do so that is their choice. if a country was run by people like you we would have no freedom. being a doctor is a profession not a religion of faith, if a doctor is just in it for the money then that is his choice, there are many renown doctors in the world at the top of their profession that only do procedures for immense $ and people still come to them because they are the best at what they do, everyone has their drive for doing what they do, some people only drive is money while others is faith, everyone has their own motives for why they do their job, just because you dont like it does not mean is wrong. the reasons you get into a profession can vary, everyone has their own reason, greed/money is just in the top 5 for reasons why people get into high paying professions there are many doctors that do abortions and they literally have to throw away body parts of babies everyday that could be seen as truly evil but we still have it, some females do require it to live but abortion is mostly use as another birth control by millions of women worldwide this is much more evil than any plastic surgery or body modification procedure

It's rare when the roles of zealous prosecutor are switched between Jack McCoy and his boss. It's usually Jack who holds the criminally reckless and negligible medical professionals accountable for their misconduct, but this time it was his boss who said it's time to lawyer up Jack because this guy is causing his patients to die after he's operated on them. As for the plastic surgeon, boy was Jack's boss on point when he said the plastic surgeon just didn't get it. He legit went to McCoy to try and get him to believe that he shouldn't be prosecuted because he was some kind of plastic surgeon god who was so important that it would have been a major loss to the community at large to have him imprisoned.

The primary evidence in this case would be tossed in the 1st minute of the trial. The medical records were illigally obtained, and a day one law student would know this.

Not really. Just because he said “eh, we’re authorized,” and the employee went, “eh, ok,” that’s not illegally obtained. It would have been on her to ask for a warrant or something. She didn’t give them the medical file due to intimidation or anything, she pulled it out and read some info from the first page to them. That would be like me walking into a store and asking for the cashier to give me something, they said idk and I claimed their boss said it’s fine with no proof, so they shrug and agree. It would be shady but it’s not illegal.

I knew this kid who a bunch of his friends perormed lipo on him. They made a real mess and his parents thought he did it on himself and were really angry because thay had told him before to never perform lipo on himself, so they grounded him.

So many surgeries... Guys, don't do cosmetic surgery on your body. You are fine the way you are, it's not worth the risk. I have several surgeries for my health issues and I wouldn't take such a risk like this just to have a flat stomach or different shape of breasts. It's so sad society pressures us to risk our lives just to look like someone else 😢.
