And professional operators do the basics the best.

Thanks for the validation. I'm doing Swing Hard! 1.0 with a 24kg (two handed). This is after purchasing Kettle Bell Burn 2.0 and realizing I was in over my head. My plan is to repeat Swing Hard 1.0 with a 28kg and then a 32kg in order to lose 50lbs (yeah, whoa) by the end of the year. At that point I may go with Simple but I also have Kettle Bell 365 which I ran for four months previously. Ironically it got me to the target weight I'm shooting for now. I'm leaning toward 365 because my broader goal is to put on as much 2A muscle as I can before turning 50 in 7 years and the program works you up to doubles work over the course of the year. However, I do see the benefit in spending a year achieving Simple before moving on to more advanced programs. I won't get anywhere injured so I like the idea of dialing in the swings and get ups. Also having great conditioning for 365 couldn't hurt (month 3 is a smoker). That might be a bit much but planning for the long term has helped me to keep from program hopping. Knowing something is on the horizon helps with the getting there.
