In this position, it will be difficult to follow the advice... no matter how hard you try... I do the shoulder extension in question with 35 kg, but the inclination of the body is different, not parallel to the bench...

No one says this about a one arm row like this. If they are, 1) they shouldn’t be a trainer and 2) they have no idea what they’re talking about
@daveyboi03

You dont need to start from in front of the shoulder. Even just at shoulder position, with the heavy weight at the end of this video, you are still bringing your arm back towards your hips. Youre still engaing and stretching your lat with this rom at this heavy weight.

@@samsonthemanson Too much weight doesn’t increase strength; it boosts the ego. What promotes hypertrophy is intensity, and that is achieved by combining the right weight with proper technique

Actually, i do mine on a slightly declined bench using the shortest height on a "stepper" at home. You'll get a better angle to hit the lats.

So it's harder if you hold the weight in front of your shoulder. Which is the whole point, you plank. He disagrees, then explains that he agrees. Wow!!!

As long as gravity is pointing a different direction it will not increase the load on the target muscle. You only make the exerciae more complex. In this case you will also train the front delt by raising the weight, for whatever reason you would want to do that

The pressure shifts from lower back to abs / upper body because braced core and tucked chin helps maintain neutral spine

Sounds like some folks just take life way too seriously. I saw that video and thought it was hilariously spot on not just for advice but also because I've seen similar scenarios at my own gym. Personally I think you're a very kind man, not offensive or degrading at all. Funny, yes. Weird in a good way. Keep being yourself Grant 😊

Additionally, 'toning' is not a function that a muscle can do. You can either grow or shrink your muscles, and grow or shrink your body fat percentage. Toning is not a thing, because it suggests that you can spot reduce fat, which you can't.
