I can’t speak highly of this chair. My lower back never felt worse than in this chair. The bolsters dig into the back and the lumbar support is a joke. Seat cushion is god awful, like a brick.

Thank you! I feel so proud of changing this myself and I could not have done it without your great instructions and helpful video. Everything from the close-ups and your clear descriptions about where, exactly, to put the key to pry the cover off, how much force to use there as well as with getting the batter out to how to close it back up made me feel confident that I could do it myself. Your calm voice and no distracting music helped too. :j

Avoid this chair like the plague. Mine squeaks and moves when locked and the rollerblade casters destroyed themselves with10 months. The support just doesn't want to try fixing or replacing anything. No refunds and no replacements so the warranty means nothing.

Hey, I'm still trying to find a new studio chair and this one is on the list. How is the arm rest movement to et them out of the way of an instrument?
@BenCad
@BenCad 10 күн бұрын
That’s a tough one to answer, I can use my guitar comfortably on this chair? But I would say I need to lean forward so the guitar clears the arm rests. It is comfortable though. It doesn’t really bother me cos I think it would be the same with any other chair. But there is no way to ‘hide’ the armrests completely unless you bolt them from the bottom (which you could do)

Good to know it holds up as well as it does, but I just do not find these chairs comfortable at all. I don't like how flat the seat and backrest are, and how there's very little customization to make it fit you. This is accentuated by the seat and headrest being one giant piece and not being able to customize how the headrest supports you, other than the pillow they give you. I suggest watching the KZbin channel that rates all the chairs, and getting an actual office chair designed to promote good posture and provide healthy comfort.

Really enjoying the KZbin algorithm with this. 1st saw your channel looking for STI reviews. Bought the STI then found you again for a head unit review. Was shopping for a secretlab chair with the recent black Friday deals and found your review. Bought the chair, yet to arrive, and am now enjoying some buyers reassurance. Side note, do you still rate the iDoing head unit?

I wanted to ask, you mentioned using the reverse camera but I was wondering if you connected the oem reverse camera or did you connect another one? Hey Peter, yeah just the standard/stock/OEM camera here! I can’t review my video as I write this but pretty sure I had a loom that was pretty much just for the camera only! There is a section I run through in this video of my wiring setup, hopefully that’s helpful! If not scan the QR code on the box and ask the Idoing guys when In doubt! Hope that helps, cheers

@BenCad
@BenCad 24 күн бұрын
@@petera4731 Check out 9:42 in the video for how I wired it. The Loom that has the OEM connection loom (shown at 1:47) should have an RCA plug, you'll connect that to a different loom (shown at 1:58) to get it to work. Pretty sure thats how i connected it all up if i remember right now!

Great video, simple, accurate and straightforward. Thorough, step by step directions that cover most of the important points. Only thing missing is what to do if the silver plunger and spring come out, but it is straight forward to reinstall once you figure out the orientation. Saved about $25 over the dealership and didn’t have to drive 100 miles to get it done. Kudos!

When I had my first car that my dad sold me when I was 18 I was the only one with a 297 WHP 1998 Saturn SL2 it was a total sleeper and a monster. But before it became the quarter Mile sleeper I built it to be over time one paycheck at a time, I had a K&N high flow replacement panel air filter in the stock air box but since I was just starting out with it I couldn't afford a cold air intake so my dad suggested that I drill holes thru the bottom of the stock air intake filter box to make it loud and also increase air flow which it did that was one of my first little homemade mods to make the car "sound cool" lmao. Eventually as I saved my pennies I slowly modded it one thing at a time starting with basic bolt ons like a real cold air I intake, big bore throttle body, headers, custom glass pack exhaust with a cable operated dump pipe just before the cat then it was onto top end mods like performance head and hot street cams and Eventually me and my pals pulled the block and built the entire bottom end bored and stroked with all forged internals for a final compression ratio of 10.9:1. I was 18 so I blew every dime I earned to soup up that car and I loved it cuz nobody expected to get burned by a saturn and it was before saturn came out with the redlines and I would be ridiculed by all the Honda guys. But I shut up their shit talking when I smoked their turbo Honda SIs with my fully built all motor saturn shooting flames from the dump pipe under the car. I got taunted for racing out that car but I saw it's potential and I like to have a car that is something unique. And it all started with drilling holes in the bottom of the air filter housing to make it sound cool when I picked up my friends man I felt so cool like I was driving a loud muscle car lol

Hey Ben thanks for your video, just a question, any of the optional accessories that appear when you select the 2k version on the idoing website, are any of those needed?
@BenCad
@BenCad 2 ай бұрын
As in Options "2200, 2203, 2203A' ? You should see the product image change when you select one, the image tells which model and year WRX its for. Eg with our without harmon kardon, or if you have the facelifted model with the newer headunit. If still in doubt, send them a quick message with your car and asking them to confirm which one. Hope that helps cheers!
