Just checked - and yeah it does look like its gone up, I purchased mine on Black Friday 2023, arguably been a lot of inflation since then I guess. Still, I'd recommend waiting for a flash sale, and consider the user of a cashback website (eg Shopback) etc.

great video, great editing too. question: I'm in the UK.. and have a 2015 Forester tS (JDM) I've imported it from Japan as a personal Import. I take it the iDoing Head units fit all Subaru models and not country specific? Did you use the Data Sim in the end or are you running it all through your mobile phone data? Have you connected the OBD II ? I take it no issues using the OE rear camera?
@BenCad
@BenCad 25 күн бұрын
Hey mate. It should work, there are Forester models - just reach out to Idoing on AliExpress if you need to confirm the right model, check country etc. i did not the data sim (it’s wired in, but I dont use it) as I use mobile data, and no OBD, camera works fine. Hope that helps, cheers

@BenCad hi. I've contacted iDoing off their website and I've been told I need to get the KT2200 model for my 2015 Forester tS JDM. And not the one listed KT2201 So I think the KT2200 is the one you have for a 2016- STi. I get 100gb of data on my phone a month so I may as well use that for the head unit... Is it easy to piggy back the data to it?
@BenCad
@BenCad 24 күн бұрын
@ yes you'll need to get the one for a Forester. So that sounds right. If you want to piggy back data its just a wifi conection with your phone hotspot. Or just bluetooth for Apple Car play etc. Hope that helps, cheers

I really liked your video. I own a 202o titan, and just today received, like most, a new pillow. The old pillow was fine but the STRAP lost all elasticity. I also received a new arm-rest, the leatherette one. This is because, like many, the material was cracked. Other than that I love the 2020 Titan. Quiet, built like a tank, so comfortable after tonns of use. I am a heavy man, 260lbs and the foam base has not suffered one bit nor the leatherette cracked on the base or back. It looks like brand new!! I only wish I had and adjustable Lumbar like the newer ones, but still I would not trade this chair in for a long time yet. Overall, the Titan is a great chair and highly highly recommended.

ive had the same 1 arm rest is cooked it cracked and then the foam underneath wore away and the pillow strap has lost its elasticity mind you the only care it has received is going through the wash to clean it and the arm rests might of been wiped over a couple of times and i would have to say i have 13,000 hours in my chair (about 50 per week) and i ordered new armrests $25 each and like 3 to ship

Probably the Titan Evo as you get access to All their accessories catalog (eg arm rests) and that the materials feel a little stronger. Little more future proof possibly.

@ Thanks for answering. Depending on comfort? I have tried them both for just few hours but regular titan felt little bit softer and more comfortable. If you compare them just in terms of comfort and lower back support which one would you choose? Thanks!
@BenCad

I think padding wise both feel about the same on mine. Comfort I’d give to the Titan Evo because it has much more range with its lumbar support system, more range to custom the fit to your needs.

Hey, I'm still trying to find a new studio chair and this one is on the list. How is the arm rest movement to et them out of the way of an instrument?
@BenCad
@BenCad Ай бұрын
That’s a tough one to answer, I can use my guitar comfortably on this chair? But I would say I need to lean forward so the guitar clears the arm rests. It is comfortable though. It doesn’t really bother me cos I think it would be the same with any other chair. But there is no way to ‘hide’ the armrests completely unless you bolt them from the bottom (which you could do)

Good to know it holds up as well as it does, but I just do not find these chairs comfortable at all. I don't like how flat the seat and backrest are, and how there's very little customization to make it fit you. This is accentuated by the seat and headrest being one giant piece and not being able to customize how the headrest supports you, other than the pillow they give you. I suggest watching the KZbin channel that rates all the chairs, and getting an actual office chair designed to promote good posture and provide healthy comfort.
@HalosouthparkFAN

Really enjoying the KZbin algorithm with this. 1st saw your channel looking for STI reviews. Bought the STI then found you again for a head unit review. Was shopping for a secretlab chair with the recent black Friday deals and found your review. Bought the chair, yet to arrive, and am now enjoying some buyers reassurance. Side note, do you still rate the iDoing head unit?

@@petera4731 Check out 9:42 in the video for how I wired it. The Loom that has the OEM connection loom (shown at 1:47) should have an RCA plug, you'll connect that to a different loom (shown at 1:58) to get it to work. Pretty sure thats how i connected it all up if i remember right now!
