Great video Robert, I had a question regarding programming the slams, number of reps per set? Do you program them ever session ?Your response is appreciated
@rlinkul2 күн бұрын
@@flightfitnesssolutions2809 2-3 sets of 6-8 reps with 100% effort once or twice a week would be good!! Glad you enjoyed it!

I guess any movement done fast (but safe) can trigger those fast twitch muscles we lose first as we age.
@rlinkul3 күн бұрын
For sure! But the ability to release the implement at the end of the lift is extra explosive and valuable. Fast tempo concentric movements is a great way to get explosive, but actually letting go is even better. Full release, full tilt, everything you got, so good!

Good Arnold impressions. I can relate to that feeling one gets working out every day, as I do those daily workouts too. I once thought I was doing it for the physical benefits (by once, I mean like 30+ years ago). However, the daily workouts quickly became a mood booster, and now my sole motivation for my daily 4 AM (or earlier) workouts is the enhancement I get to my mood--the physical benefits are just a nice side effect.

I always wonder what is "strong enough" I'm never going to be as strong as this guy, I don't have the time. But I strength train every day for around 10 minutes with good intensity, load, and form. I know the exercises that give me the best bang for my buck. I walk, play table tennis and do rough and tumble with the grandkids. I think people need to know what is 'enough'; otherwise, people see this guy and think I could never do that and not bother doing anything. This guy did say he was addicted to exercise.

Great video thanks. You must not be feeling well no rants. Silver Sneakers is more for seniors who are frail and/or out of shape, so it has its place.Yoga is great for balance, ROM and fall prevention, but Meta-analysis of two RCTs showed no significant effect on BMD for yoga. Feel better.

@ I have been training older adults for about two decades now. I currently when I’m south for the winter work with clients ranging from 70 to 92. We have a fitness center in back to fitness center at our housing development.. I’m at a point in my life that I do not do it for money. I work with those who need it and can’t afford it.. love doing it. What courses would you recommend that I take to help help me improve my ability to help these people thank you.
