Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things! This song is a staple at their Okyuji! World Domination is their goal…which really means they want Band-Maid to be recognized around world. So you’re helping to spread the news of this amazing band…the pigeon would be so happy! 🤘🕊️🦍🥷👸🏻👀PO!

A band that since its inception have maintained the energy and passion to play, entertain and enjoy on stage. 3 talented sisters, who complement each other making a music that as a whole fills any space where they perform being only 3 pieces. Good rock, good sound and lyrics that always make sense.

Band-Maid is full of great surprises - here are a few to show their range - Gion Cho (Band Maiko), Daydreaming (Ballad), Blooming (Compositional Masterpiece), Different or Shambles (Anime), Manners (Classic Blues rocker), Black Hole (Progressive) - These are a taste of their talent!

Miku sings lead on a few songs - The acoustic version of Sayonakidori is a real treat - Miku on lead vocals and guitar, Akane drums and backing vocals, Misa on bass

When the rest go up to Akane like that they're all making faces to make her mess up. You never get used to it because every song is different. Koanami (lead gtr) is a rock genius. Mikulski writes most of the lyrics.

The girls just hit the spot ! I've been collecting music since i was about 8 in the 70's and few pull of utter brilliance like this,, Bon's AC/DC, Rush, Free, exulted company to be in. Saw them at Leeds and London in April, smaller gigs before they will only be able to host big arenas. You will not be disappointed with the rest of this concert. Though i reckon the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 sound quality is better. Post 3 at a time and The Warning Army will turn up !

One part of this video I love to point out - right after the intense guitar "battle" between Kanami and Miku, Miku actually falls down on her butt! You can see her pop back up when the camera switches to Akane right after! Literally takes a fall and never misses a beat.

Saiki is a great lead vocalist but she’s not Band-Maid’s front woman, that would be founder, rhythm guitarist, wordsmith and vocalist Miku, who is also a part time pigeon. This will become clear eventually. Saiki has taken a decade to learn how to be this confident and commanding, Miku’s been doing it since she was a baby. Do you get used to it? Yeah, the bar just rises, which is bad for most other bands.

Band-Maid has some great ballads, but no one melts my heart like Mayu. 🫶❤️‍🔥 Another Nemophila ballad is "Life." As for Band-Maid, they tend to serenade us Maidiacs specifically, like with "About Us" or "Memorable." Other pseudo-ballads are "Endless Story" (OMV or live) and "Daydreaming." "Wonderland" also fits the bill. Or, you could watch the 2021 live acoustic XMas concert...14 songs reformatted for acoustic. Of those, I recommend "Sayonakidori" Po. 🕊️

Love the format of 3 songs. I do believe there are 23 songs in total and I would recommend doing Black Holes and Breathe together and also doing the Encore together which is Evolve and Materio. I also would recommend Dust to Dust/Dull Knives together as they blend into one another and was released as one video for this concert. Other than that, I enjoyed the format and I would continue with it. Will be following your rabbit hole into TW.

They could've written them back then and Alone, being by far the most sophisticated track musically on their 3rd offering is proof. The success of Thrill, a band chosen B-sides, certainly gave them some clout to at least choose what they recorded after the first album.

Well, You Have Been WARNED !!!! The Future Of ROCK from Monterrey Mexico, The Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela "Dany" (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano) The Lightning riff maker. Paulina "Pau" (drums, lead and backing vocals, piano, and also songwriter for the band) Drum Bombardment from the heavens (Huge Pau Fan here). Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. Alejandra "Ale" (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals) Thunder Goddess. She plays a signature Spector 5 string that she helped design, it's called Ale's Inferno. She also has a blue signature Spector 5-string...fire and ice. Ale's been playing Spector since age 13, and signed with Spector at 15. The Villarreal Vélez sisters were raised in Monterrey, and all received training on various instruments at an early age. At some point in their childhood, Daniela and Paulina had selected guitar and drums as their primary instruments, respectively. When the youngest of the three, Alejandra, selected bass guitar as her primary instrument at about age 7, the sisters decided to form a rock power trio in 2013. They learned to play rock songs, often via the Rock Band video game series, and posted videos of their performances to KZbin. In 2014, 12-year-old Paulina was profiled in the women's drumming publication Tom Tom Magazine. The band first gained widespread notice later in 2014 when, at ages 9 through 14, their KZbin video in which they performed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" went viral among rock music fans, eventually earning more than 20 million views. The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" PS: This Band is exceptional in Live setting, The Energy is through the roof, as you can see !!! ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.

When Saiki joined the band she was shy and uncomfortable up front. Now she’s the definition of a front woman. Kanami, aka Mincho, will write the songs then send them to each member for their input. She’s not selfish and has said many songs are ‘cooler’ than her original ideas. Jimmy Page happened to watch one of their shows and was so impressed by Akane he wanted to meet her. I found the picture on YT and have a copy of it but can’t send it in the comments area.

There’s been an odd song here and there where Kanami-san doesn’t do a guitar solo. Those are the times I’m surprised. Also, when MISA-san’s bass guitar sound doesn’t come forward. That’s strange. Otherwise, it sort of took me about 6 songs when I realized that I’m a fan for life. Those 6 songs… maybe 30 minutes. 😂

Subbed. These ladies are the real deal. Talent plus work ethic plus genuine passion for what they do equals a great product. Their music is fire and while there are of course certain songs that I like more than others I can honestly say they do not have one single song in their discography that I dislike up until now. That has never happened to me with any other band including some of my all time favorite bands. It's quite uncanny actually, the talent they have for writing and performing good rock music. Even their ballads are really good. I listen to their music pretty much every day and have seen them live. Their sound is so powerful for a three piece that seeing them live is quite the experience. I'm glad you bought a ticket. You will not be disappointed.

Brilliant. And what a good question: “When do you get used to this?” In my experience, you get used to never getting used to it. Every new listen to a Band Maid song is like opening a present from your children. Many times, the reaction is exactly what happened to you here. But sometimes, it shorts out your circuitry. However, I have also learned to “Trust in Mincho.” If you don’t quite get what the song is doing on first try? Keep coming back to it. Eventually, the Maid Magic will clarify everything for you. “Giovanni” anyone? 😊 It’s obvious by the things you notice and the way you express yourself that you have massive sonic rewards ahead of you. Band Maid is a musician’s band who respects their audience. They write with both the casual listener and music theorist in mind. They do more work in their songwriting and arrangements with a single song than some bands do on an entire album. I look forward to seeing you open more gifts from the Maids 🤘🏽

The moment where the guitarists gathered around the drummer is actually a funny interaction the Maids have between themselves. They were practicing hengao, the Japanese custom of making funny faces at someone to distract them. It never works, because Akane, the drummer, just keeps the beat and makes kissy faces at them. These Maids are always doing those kinds of funny things on stage to and with each other. That is also one of the reasons their concerts are so much fun.

Band Maid is: MIKU (mee-koo) Rhythm guitar, backing vocals. She writes the lyrics and is the band’s founder. She is “the little pigeon”. KANAMI (kah-nah-mee) Lead guitar. A classically trained musician, she writes and arranges all the music. “Mincho” MISA (mee-sah) Bass. The band’s secret weapon. She owns the left side of the stage. “The barefoot assassin”. AKANE (ah-kah-neh) The Happiest drummer on Earth. “The Gorilla” is the other half of the best rhythm section on this planet. Watch her and Misa lock eyes at one point almost every live song. SAIKI (sigh-kee) Lead vocals. Front man. “The Ice Queen”, She’s also the team mom.
