Had my 750i for 4yrs. The 1st engine seized after 4 uses but got a new one shipped free of charge. The fuel tank cap constantly leaks, so never fill it up or transport it in your van/car with petrol in. Uses oil fast and goes black after 20hrs of use so change your oil regularly. The Lance fittings are crap. No matter how tight you tighten them, they leak ( yes, I've also tried ptf on everything but alwaysleaks ) The plastic wheels broke so had to get none original hard rubber ones. The instruction manual is next to useless. When you pull the pullcord, even with no pressure, after 3 pulls, the recoil rips your hand off. Change the male plastic hose fitting for a metal one as mine snapped off. All of these problems but the pressure power is great and cleans better than any electric washer I've used in the past.

Yea ive got an issue with mine not unloading properly when you release the trigger on the lance, there's always loads of resistance trying to start, I've taken the unloader valve out and cleaned it, not sure what else to do.

Excellent video!! Thanks very much. I'd decided that I was going to need to replace the catch mechanism - the door wouldn't close after I'd opened it and the 'catcher' just opened and closed. I came across this video while looking for some ideas about changing the mech and decided to have another go. If you get your hand up inside the door, you can feel the movement of the link between the door handle and the mech. A bit of GT85 and a 'help' of the movement of the mech and it's now fine!! You saved me buying a new mech (found one on eBay at £45!!), and the pain of trying to fit it as well. Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure these are sold as a JetUSA brand in Australia, looks identical in design and even colour (I found this video looking for a seal for mine), if the hose is connected to the top of the pump and the bottle, mine drawers the detergent when using the 60 degree tip on the lance but not smaller ones, try that.

Great video, told me everything I needed to know about this machine. I actually bought one on of these pressure washers on the strength of the content in your video- it’s brilliant I’m very happy with it, getting it fired up has a knack but once it’s running and warmed up it’s excellent. 100% better than electric- for those who are interested the engine is a Honda GX200 clone so is infinitely repairable, parts are easily obtained and abundant, plus you can buy an electric start upgrade kit if you really want.

Hi, the new rims you have….. there were thousands up and down the country at Peugeot dealers. Many models were sent out of the factory with those steel wheels (with those centre caps-e.g, the GTX model) but when a customer specified alloys, they were fitted at the dealership and the steels “disposed of”. The black centre caps are correct for the wheels and were retained by the close proximity of the wheel bolts. The centre caps were fitted to a range of Peugeots- 305 for example but were fitted to talbots also-they had a “T” in the middle though. The brakes are bendix. Check the pads are not seized and that that they have the stainless steel springs clips fitted correctly by pressing the edge of the pad towards to centre of the disc- they should spring back…… do NOT attempt to undo the caliper bleed nipple (steel )without applying a lot of heat first. It is likely siezed solid due to cathodic corrosion- fit NEW and apply copper grease to the threads and then proper bleed screw cap. ….. good luck ! I have one of therse stashed….it was my daily for many years…..

I cut the whole oil cooler off using a combination of angle grinder and multitool, replaced the crank sensor with a Febi unit and everything worked fine for a few months, now its throwing P0341 amd P0344 but crank sensor issues again! I replaced the battery hoping it would clear the issue but its only gotten worse with stability control warning lights and glow plug faults, which are new! Honestly ridiculous situation.

Stop the vid at 1.51 and you'll see to the left of where the oil came out there is a bolt . You can see it between the wheel and the engine mounting rubber. This is the sump bolt, undo that and the oil will flow out without having to tip it and it should come out without going on the machine. You will be able to get your tray under there and catch the oil if you raise it up off the ground. EDIT, using the sump bolt also flushes out any swarf that's built up right at the bottom of the engine.

Hi, yes you can get one it's a standard 1/4" quick release fitment, you'll want to make sure the nozzle you buy will be able to take the pressure the machine works at though or it won't last very long.
